These curtains fit the bill. I like that they are not completely black out curtains. A little light does filter through so you can still get away with hanging them during winter as they are heavy enough. Quality is not bad. I have yet to wash them so I can't say any more until then.

Ordered these curtains for the “girls “ bedroom. Wanted texture, but not see through, sheer fabric . These curtains were thick, textural and the perfect color (off white). Definitely don’t need a blind for privacy.

I got the tab top version of the green curtain. -The tabs that you put the curtain rod through are thick. When you pull back the curtains each panel stacks at 9 inches. So you have to hang your curtain brackets really wide to the side of the window or you will block the the light. I stacked two, so mine are so wide that it looks like a stage. I like it but that's obviously not to everyone's taste. And won't always fit! So to avoid that get the grommet version or get curtain rings. -The tabs go right up to the top of the curtain. There is no header of cloth that sticks up above the curtain rod. I had to hang mine very high because of where the window molding is. But this look won't work on every window. It looks like the grommet version has the header. -Drapes look better if you hang them high above the window. I don't think most ceilings will look good with the 84 inch length because it'll usually fall a couple inches above the floor. I got the 96 inch and hemmed a foot off. It seems like a lot of work for two inches, but you have to iron them anyway, so you can use hem tape and it's really not that much work. (I sewed them so I don't actually know how the fabric plays with hem tape). -The green color on the website is pretty accurate. The lamp in the second picture is celadon green and it matches pretty well. It might be slightly grayer/duller in my light, but it's definitely green. In some of the customer photos, it looked grey and it's not. They don't look expensive because of the fabric but they're fine. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. They are somewhat sheer, but look great when hung up! I love the sage green color. The curtain rings are metal, and seem very sturdy.
