These are a great buy. They feel like pure cotton/linen - not the poly blend. I have sage green in my kitchen, therefore I ordered them - and the green works very well. It could also go as the now-loved green/grey shade. I don't like grey at all - so the grey/kahki will be whatever you have most of in the room. I have an original 1932 kitchen with linoleum floors —the khaki-brown accents on the fabric work for me. I have had to shorten them and I chose to line them - so lots of hand sewing with no issues. They have been washed a few times to soften - so durable/ well made. I first ordered one pair, then ordered another two to do more windows. Pattern is lovely without being overbearing. I was pleasantly surprised with these cafe curtains. Very inexpensive, fairly well made and a pleasing pattern. I am not sure how they will hold up in the washing machine even on delicate cycle, but overall good. Perfect for my kitchen window.
