I purchased the sage colored blackout curtains. I was searching for an olive hue to match my new dining chairs. These curtains added personality to my drab eat-in kitchen. The length I needed was not available so I opted to size up to 108 inch length. These are thick, feels high quality. I typically sleep during the day and these keep the light out so well that I plan on buying more to use in my bedroom. I used 63 inches for my one window, and the remainder fabric I split between creating tier curtains above the sink and a curtain for my rear exterior door. It all ties together so well. I've noticed a huge difference in the temperature of my kitchen. It truly keeps the heat out when they are closed so during these hot summer days and the afternoon sun shifts toward my kitchen I cannot tell on the inside because it remains cool. I include photos of the finished look and also a light variance depending on the type of light bulb you use and how they would appear in that lighting.

I originally only left two stars because they are not 100% blackout in the California summer sun. SO WHAT! Now that I have had them a few days I just love them more and more. They look so elegant and completely make the room. They are dark enough at night. Upgraded to 4 stars. I am very glad I bought them. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Initially I was so excited about these curtains. They are soft and beautiful. Well made. The pattern lines up on both sets I ordered. Then the afternoon sun came. I tested them out by pulling them closed... A LOT of light still comes through. The pictures show actual light coming through the fabric, that is not a reflection. (I'm not talking about light at top, nothing can stop that.) This is not gonna be good when my neighbor leaves the porch light on all night. My old blackout curtains (similar style, weight, and backing) blocked everything. I've already hung them and theyre very cute so I'll probably keep them. But I won't be happy when I'm trying to sleep.
