I purchased the Jinchan Floral 95% Blackout Curtains in the green flower pattern for our east-facing breakfast room patio door, and overall, I’m very happy with them. These curtains strike a nice balance between function and style. The design is really beautiful. We had dark maroon drapes on this patio door for 20 years so the soft green tones of these drapes are a big change along with the gorgeous botanical print that adds a fresh, clean look to the room. When the drapes first arrived, I thought they sent gray instead of green until I moved to a different light then the soft green became the star, so expect that there could be subtle changes during the day. The fabric feels thick, well-made, and very soft, while the grommets are sturdy and allow the curtains to slide easily across the rod, which is handy because, with 3 dogs, we open and close them often during the day. These also hang beautifully with the soft folds that grommet drapes are known for. While these are labeled as 95% blackout curtains, I would say they are better than that. In our breakfast room, which faces east with harsh light until about noon, these drapes beautifully block all but what sneaks in around the edges and have noticeably helped reduce heat from the morning sun, keeping the room more comfortable They are actually perfect for this space. They, of course, arrive folded, with minor wrinkles. I hung them before I realized my steamer didn't work. For the 3 days, they hung there before I could get to the store for a new steamer, there were only 3 wrinkles that were obvious to me but my husband never noticed them. Overall, these Jinchan curtains are a lovely addition to our breakfast room—both functional and decorative. They soften the space, control the light, and offer privacy, all while looking far more expensive than they are. I’m very pleased and would definitely recommend them. The quality of the drapes and the beauty of the fabric make me so happy. Cons, you knew there had to be some. The availability of sizes is lacking. I had to hang two panels instead of one large patio door panel and then pin them together, which is far from ideal. I would also love to have this in a valance size for my kitchen window on the same wall.

I got the taupe color, and wow - am I impressed! Nicely sewn ( one very minor sewing 'back/forth' stitch on a small section of the bottom hem, not noticeable... it IS production sewn and minor things are to be expected at this price point.) and are complete blackout. A set of 2 panels for this price!!! The fabric is soft, tightly woven, has a very nice weight, and is almost silk like... but doesn't snag. The finish side isn't shiny. The taupe color is a light brownish on an off-white background. Not cream, not bright white. I used clip rings to hang them , and each panel has sewn in back tabs where I attached the clips on... seven per panel. Easy to move open and close. Adds a nice classic, yet subtle pattern to a traditional or cottage style décor. I hung them up right out of the package to see if I liked them or not at this window, and a few days later decided to indeed iron them as directed to in the instructions. Yes - ironing elevates them up a notch even further. A steam iron on an ironing board gets rid of the packaging fold marks that don't come out on their own just hanging up, but especially it creases down/crisps the bottom hem and sides nicely to hang even better. It matters not which side is ironed... the front pattern side is where you see the fold marks and the iron slides over the fabric without snagging. The back side IS black... (which for some reason I wasn't sure about ) but once they were hung and viewed from the outside, the black backing isn't noticeable with the window screens anyhow. At night it is TOTAL blackout viewed from outside. Very pleased with this purchase! Don't hesitate.

Overall they get the job done and the print is very pretty. The stitching workmanship isn’t great but you get what you pay for and it’s not noticeable unless you start looking close. The blackout is great and does not let any light in. I used 2 panels for my porch sliding door and it’s perfect size.

These curtains are amazing . I wasn’t expecting them to have any weight to them but they actually do so it makes them feel really expensive . They’re not too heavy to weigh down your curtain rod , but heavy enough that they don’t move around from ceiling fans or ac or simply walking by . They look just like in the picture . They are blackout curtains. Didn’t have any weird smell out of the package and delivered on time . I will be ordering more :)
