This is made to tighten the Lyre holder, which is on the left side of the top of the alto saxophone. If you’re looking for the screw to tighten your sax neck, which is on the right side, this is way too small and DOES NOT work.

The threaded portion is only 13mm long. You might not have sufficient thread engagement, depending on your sax. Nicely finished though.

The media could not be loaded. as i stated in the video, was excited for the screw but for whatever reason it didn’t secure my saxophone neck. will be returning & searching for one the looks more like the one my sax came with. didn’t think it’d be a big deal but guess it was 🤷🏻♀️

Bought this as a lyre screw for my alto sax but whether it's holding a lyre or being used as a neck screw, it sticks out about a half inch. I'm trying to find som eway to shorten it
