My only warning is this is a lobster claw type fastener. If you have a pendant with a small bail it will not fit. I solved this by using jewelry jump rings. I got this chain to be able to change pendants and charms to suit my mood and whatever I'm wearing that day, and it is perfect for that. Right out of the box it is shiny and the gold plating is very smooth and clear. However, I did have an issue with the chain being twisted and kinked in several areas. I was able to straighten it and smooth out the kinks fairly easily with the exception of two of them. Those need a little more TLC, and I was able to work those out with some gentle pressure while I ran the chain between my thumb and first finger. I have a hard time wearing plain sterling silver necklaces for more than a couple of hours..because the natural nickel that is in sterling silver....so I tried this 14k gold coating necklace....it didn't mention anything about it being coated over silver in the description ..but going by the price I accepted it probably isn't fully gold. the design and cut of the necklace is very nice...it catches the light the way it's cut and It shines like you can't imagine...I've worn it a few times and I haven't noticed my neck itching or getting irritated so I am sure the gold coating is working and it's real...I think the next thing I want to get is a metal jewelry tester ..I want to do thorough checks for items I wear and receive just to make double sure I am getting what is advertised...but with the wearing I have done so far with this item..it's absolutely not irritated my neck at all..and I've got very sensitive skin to silver or brass , so I feel confident being able to wear this regularly without issues...it's also very well made . the lobster clasp and the welding actions on the necklace are good quality. ... show more

I ordered this for a pendant, and it's really pretty. The quality and workmanship are very good, and the silver is polished to a high shine, so it sparkles nicely. I ordered the 1.5mm 26" length, which is perfect for what I wanted. It has the S925 stamp with a nice big lobster claw, and the ends are secured well for durability. However, this length allows me to put it on over my head, which works even better. The unfortunate problem I ran into is that my pendant doesn't have a bale, and it wouldn't fit on the larger ends of this chain. I love Jewlpire products so far. I purchased this necklace first in the 2mm to wear with a 24kt gold ingot. It looks perfect with it and no one would ever think it wasn’t solid 18kt gold. This one is 1.5 mm and also just perfect. It has a lobster claw clasp which makes it easy to fasten. The end caps are well attached and the construction is quality.
