This chain looks really nice. Very understated and quite classy. The white gold over sterling silver gives it a tastefully upscale appearance. The clasp is stamped S925 and Italy. The packaging and card don't indicate a country of origin anywhere so I'm assuming the chain is actually from Italy. I wanted to give my sterling silver wolf pendant a nicer chain than the stainless one that came with it. That necklace was another Amazon Vine find and I'm quite enamored of it. Honestly I like the chain that it came with but I felt a silver pendant deserved a real silver chain. I'm also not sure about the wisdom of using a stainless steel chain with it longterm. That led me to my search and the search led me to this piece. While the white gold presents a noticeable difference in shading from the pendant itself I feel the combination is serviceable for the time being. There may be a chain out there that more perfectly complements the wolf pendant, but if I should find one this white gold chain will stay in the rotation anyway. From having tried it on and worn it upon receipt and without first adding the pendant I can say it's a great looking piece unadorned, a good length and design that provides a subtle embellishment to one's outfit without looking tacky. The packaging includes a tasteful box but it doesn't have a felt lining or anything else to upgrade the presentation. If this is to be a gift, you may want to change boxes depending on the occasion and your recipient. The lobster clasp has been easy to use for me, and has stayed secure over the past few days of wear. I've accidentally pulled on the chain while dressing or undressing and haven't observed any damage or apparent sign of failure. The included card advises not to wear the chain while showering or sleeping, though I'm not clear if that's meant to preserve the jewelry or if it's a harm reduction measure to protect the wearer. Care and maintenance are indicated as wiping with a silver polishing cloth and storing in the box when not in use. This again reminds that we may need to upgrade the box a little for safekeeping if this chain doesn't have another place it's stored. Something else I like about this subtle piece is that it looks like a much more expensive chain than it actually is. Possibly a double edged sword since it could make the necklace attractive to thieves, but regardless it offers a simple means of elevating an already cherished pendant, and adds a touch of class to even my pedestrian aesthetic.

Bright silver white finish; Very lightweight, yet substantial enough for small pendants. ___I have seen heavier chains that can be deemed delicate, and I have seen lighter chains than this that would break at the first opportunity. This chain is somewhere in the middle. It has a lobster claw closure, which will also stand up to a more stress than the cheaper ring closure, so that also indicates the maker is paying some attention to the quality, and the delicate appearance is not quite a weak one. ___Given the above considerations, this chain would be well suited to hold a charm or a smaller pendant. The drape of the rope chain in this size will allow the pendant to hang nicely, and the closure can easily be handled. ___If ordering in longer lengths, I think you will NEED a pendant of some sort to help the chain drape down accross sweaters, etcetera.

This rope chain looks pretty nice. It’s very lightweight for the size. The lobster claw is pretty heavy duty, though. The chain tends to stick together quite a bit but not so much that it’s difficult to undo. I just would be pulling at my chain while wearing tokeep it straightened. The size really makes me think it’s more masculine.

This is a lovely necklace! The 26" length is accurate, and the chain hits exactly where it should. One end of the chain is stamped "S925", and the other is stamped "Italy". Even though the chain is only 1.5mm, it gives the impression of being quite strong. Yet it still looks and feels light and comfortable when you're wearing it. I always have some sort of pendant on my chains, so it was fun going through my things to see how some of my favorites would look with this new chain. It really elevates the look and helps make even tired pendants look new and interesting again. As I said, I love this chain, and I would be thrilled to receive one as a gift. I'm pretty sure someone in YOUR life would enjoy receiving one, too! These necklace chains are of good quality, and are a good value.

Jewlpire necklaces are well made necklaces at a reasonable price. i know this because I purchased a chain from them prior to receiving this one. This chain is a thin rope style. It is perfect for wearing various pendants you might have in your collection. This would also make a great necklace for warm weather wear because it would be comfortable against the neck when it is hot out. It is made with quality materials. It is sterling silver plated with a shine that makes it look like real gold. The lobster claw clasp and end clasp are made of quality materials and marked accordingly. It received the 22 inch which can be worn with various tops; even turtlenecks. The chain is also woven tightly so it doesn’t pull your hair or skin. I recommend this chain for its versatility and quality.

This is my second necklace from Jewlpire and probably will not be my last! The necklace looks like the purest of Silver. Its almost white. The clasp is heavy duty. There is nothing cheap looking about thier necklaces. I cant want to find a charm to put on it.
