I loved this chain, it retains its sheen and is lovely without any added adornments. I take extra pride in the care I give to my jewelry. I have had many pieces of expensive jewelry, some for 60 to 70 years. I’m very disappointed in the workmanship because the clasp was defective and I came close to losing the necklace. Unfortunately the time has passed for a replacement so it’s my tough luck! Because of the high quality of the necklace I will have to pay to have it repaired. I wanted something more diamond cut so it would shine and it sure does. It has a lovely shine. I've worn it continuously even in the shower and it has held up perfectly. I had noticed my second chain seemed to kink in a few spots but a slight tug unkinked it without any damage. It wasn't being worn at the time and was roughly handled. It is a nice chain, the 1.35mm width is good for wearing with a pendent or charm on it, but this one can’t be used. The chain was sitting inside a sealed, small thin plastic type envelope inside a box & it already had a knot in the chain which I couldn’t get out.
