Color: 14 poly 48W Nail lamp set
I got this in the mail yesterday and decided to get right to work because I saw in the reviews that it took others around 4-5 hours to complete a set. Thankfully it only took me about 2 hrs! This set comes with literally everything you need. Products are all pretty good quality and I’ve had no issues (course I’ve only used it once though lol) It’s difficult to work with polygel if you are 100% a beginner. I watched TikTok tutorials before I even started, that way I’d have a better idea of the process. HELPED A TON! A couple issues I ran into was that the nail sizers (can’t remember what they are called) didn’t fit my thumbnail. Even the biggest size was too small. I will say I have wider nail beds so it’s been a struggle with press-on nails in the past. But I do think that’s why the polygel seeped out more around my nail edges…I do wish they had more size variety. There were only 9 different sizes which seemed few considering press-on nails usually go up to 15+ different sizes. The other issue I had was the nail sizer/polygel wouldn’t stay on my nail bed before curing under the lamp. It kept falling and pulling up off the nail and if it did that while under the uv lamp than it would create air bubbles/pockets with missing gel. I’m assuming that’s user error but wanted to include that in the review so others can be aware that it might happen. Overall my advice would be to not expect to be a pro at it the first couple times, and don’t expect it to come out perfect either. I did slowly get better with each nail I did, just by getting used to the technique and learning how much of the gel to use. The kit does comes with regular nail clippers but I think I’ll eventually buy the nail clippers meant for acrylic nails (where you can cut long nails down in one clip) again can’t remember the actual name of those. Because it took quite some time to clip and file the gel down to a length and shape I was used to. I also love the color variety and can’t wait to try more colors! The ones I did was in the white shade, came out more clear than white but I’m still happy with it! The tubes of gel had a decent amount in them too which was nice…definitely hard to squeeze out though. Anyways the nails look great from a distance but when you get close and really ''look” at them than they definitely look less professional 😂 but either way I love that they should last about 3 weeks without any issues! After living with press-on nails for years this will be really nice!! Maybe I’ll update this in a few weeks with how the nails held up!

You can do it! I have never tried doing anything more than gel polish at home for my nails. It did take time, as others have mentioned, but the learning curve is fast. 100% need to youtube to watch how to do it. It was super fun and satisfying to pop the nail cast off and reveal a shiny pretty nail! I love the colors on this set. They are transparent which I love. Gives a natural color to nails and with practice I can do the ombre or "blurred" french manicure. My nails did not come out perfect IMO but no one else notices the bits I lan to improve on next round.

First let me say, I was I was slightly disappointed about the size of the products especially the size of the top and bottom coats since they’re needed every time. Pics posted next to a regular sized bottle of nail polish for size comparison. However for the price and everything included I still feel like it’s a great value. I was very pleasantly surprised by the ease of applying this product and how sturdy the nails feel. This is the first time I’ve ever done poly gel and I will say it does take alittle practice to get the technique right. It will probably take me a while to perfect it. However what I’ve found so far is it’s best to do about a pea sized amount of poly gel in the center of the mold. Spread evenly outwards towards the sides and towards the top and bottom leaving a thinner layer towards the bottom. Don’t place all the form all the way at the nail bed because once you push down the form the gel tends to come out of the bottom and you don’t want it to overlap on the skin. Once you have the form in place, flip the nail over and thin the product out on the back with the slip solution so you don’t get super thick cakey nails before curing. It’s a pain to file from the back and get it smooth and even. lol if you do happen to get the gel over your skin and cure it before you realize you can carefully use the cuticle tool to cut away those pieces. I will say it took me an embarrassing 5-6 hours to do these. But I’ve no nail artist and it was my first time working with the product. I’m sure I’ll get better with practice

I had to do a few different sets to effectively write a good review and this kit is a great start for anyone trying to do their own nails cheap and easy. Tips i learned from doing a new set every week for 3 weeks. 1. Use nail tips, your nails will be stronger with that added support. 2. I don’t like the forms at all so I free handed all of my nails and it takes a little longer but definitely worth it. 3. Get an e file it will definitely help with getting the right thickness you want and help to file off the gel polishes when you want to do a new color. The color polygels that I tried were all pretty sheer so I could still see my nails and natural nails (could be user error but check pics for reference) I don’t use any of the color gel polishes I just used the poly gels. Overall it’s a good kit and I’ve already saved myself at least $200-$300 by doing them myself.

The kit pretty good the lamp works pretty good the only issue I have is the file gun I hope you know what I'm talking about it kind of broke on me so I had to take it apart and put it back together but it still works so that's the only issue it's not too bad everything else in the kit good I just don't really like the file tool
