I didn't use the shelves for perfume, but rather a space for my larger earrings. The media could not be loaded. It came very early. I believe my mom’s gonna love it for Christmas I have not set it up yet. I’ll update this once we set it up. It looks very nice, it’s a great item and I love that it’s not look cheaply made my mom did say it was easy to put together

My sister-in-law bought a stupid mirror with a jewelry case inside. I don’t have the room so I search Amazon and found this. It is perfect for my room. There’s space aplenty for what I have. The color is nice. The brackets I choose to use are strong easy to attach to the back. It doesn’t stick out a lot from the door so if you chose to hand on the wall with the provided hardware it would be low profile too. Very nice piece of furniture. And up front they said it had a strong odor. Believe me it does. But it doesn’t overwhelm the room. The only time I smell it is when I open it. The only complaint I have are the two drawers. They are deep but not much width and have no stop in the back of the drawer so every time I side it out it falls completely out of the case usually on the floor. Gift for my wife. She loved it. Only sad thing was it was delivered earlier than expected. Thus my wife was home and answered the door when the FEDEX guy brought it to the door with the picture of showing on the box. She ended up getting it early since she saw it. Stand it's self is nice color, easy to get together, plenty of room for all her crap. Also turned out that since she is short and we lacked a full length mirror she won't have to stand on the toilet and use the bathroom mirror. 2 in 1 gift in my case! ... show more

It smells SO bad. Poorly made- lots of scratches and dings. The smell is HORRIBLE. I spent an afternoon disassembling to remove the velvet backing on both sides. The particle board stinks too!! I’m hoping they give me a full refund. I never give bad reviews but this is THE WORST!

Pros: Size! Fantastic size, tall enough for me but still low enough to see everything (I am 4' 11'). The mirror is great. First one was broken, sent back and got a new one that was great. Cons: There is no space for stud earrings, which I have a crap load of. The earring holders at the top seem to either be too wide or too small for my straight stick/non curved back earring and they fall often. I like big jewelry and this one doesn't seem to be made with that in mind. I have earrings overlapping, having to double up some of the hanging ones and my hoops on some of the necklace hooks, which then means it cant close all the way. The last thing is that it is very dark. There is no hook up for light and you have to out it in a space where the door won't block the light or put some sort of light inside. Overall, I got it as a gift and am grateful but, there definitely could be some improvements. ... show more
