Personally this is a little sloppy with a tiny bit of play from the left to the right with the blade. These cutters extremely dislike cutting 1.25" PVC tubing! Description says it can cut 1.25" PVC and it does cut 1.25" except they won't last long with many cuts of this large size. While cutting 1.25" PVC I recommend to turn the piping and take it slow, while carefully and methodically cutting. These are definitely not meant to be used on a huge job, nor would I recommend them for use as a daily jobsite tool needed to rely on, as I would not give them much wear and tear until complete destruction arises of these cutters. As far as PVC pipes of smaller diameter than 1.25", it cuts those diameters fairly well. It has no issues so far with half inch PVC piping, once again still not going to be the best choice for a huge job nor expect it to be a reliable daily go to tool without breakage soon.(** Not bad for a small job or ONE TIME/DAY USE!) "What you pay for is what you get in tools", and this is an exact case in point! So definitely will not cut larger than 1 25" PVC!
