I ordered these for my pre-teen granddaughter as the rink rent skates are clunky and not the cleanest. These are great- lightweight, well made, comfortable for the first wearing and the light up wheels make them extra special on the dimly lit rinks. She can practice skating on my tile floors and her wood floors at home. Her skating skills went from 33% struggle to smooth confident sailing when she wore them at the big rink. I also ordered these for my two middle school grandsons and they're having a wonderful time as the wheels make maneuvering corners and speed skating much easier.
