I have written many reviews for the L pocket skirt over the years because I have bought a whole lot. All the reviews are basically the same. These skirts are not consistent. They tend to fit big but there was a case where I ordered a 14 and a 16 and when they arrived they were both the same size. I do not live in the US, so I can not just return it if it doesn't fit. It is alright for me because I am a seamstress and know how to alter, but if you do not know how to sew, that would be a problem for you. They tend to be roomy in the thighs/butt and go in smaller at the waist. So if you have an 'apple' shape, you'll probably find that if it fits at the waist, it will be too big in the thighs. Well why do I buy them at all? Because modest jean skirts are hard to come by these days and also, there is usually a nice selection of colours as well. I do wish the sizing was more consistent so it would take the guess work out of ordering. ONE MONTH LATER: I had to change the stars from 3 to 1. In the past usually a skirt would last at least a year before the zipper would start giving trouble to stay up. I have not had this skirt for a full two months yet and the zipper pull broke off all together. I am writing these reviews in hopes that SOMEONE will read these and do something about the quality and fit of these skirts. PLEEEAAASSSEE!!!???!!! NOV 30, 2014 I think that it is only fair to update this review because originally I had given it a 3 star because the fit was not consistent, then I lowered it to a 1 star because several skirts in a row had zippers that would not stay up or broke all together. I am rating this now at this time, a 4 star because in the last year I have had several of these skirts and they have been much more consistent in size (they still fit a shape that has a smaller waist than hips), and the zippers have been MUCH better.

Runs really large and some run really small. Great mid-calf length (I’m 5’9”.). I am returned the size 20w. Update: Got the size 16w in the khaki/tan and the fit is perfect, even after laundering. I’m usually an 18Tall so I’d recommend going at least one size down. Excellent skirt, ordered two more. Update to the update: For some reason, i’m not permitted to write a review on the other two skirts I bought, so I’ll do it here. Bought a black one and a green/mint one, shipped from the seller. Black skirt fits fine but the button hole wasnt finished. The green/mint one, although the same size as the other two in 16w, is tight in the waist and hips, and the fabric is thinner. A bit of a disappointment but not worth the expense of sending back. Hit-or-miss on sizing.

I just came back from my cruise and washed the skirt in cold water as I normally wash dark clothes and it came out with spots on it as if I used bleach or something. I washed the Olive Green shirt with the rest of my dark clothes and they turn out great. I am very disappointed because I cannot wear my skirt anywhere now. I also ordered a floral olive green & pink kimono that looked great with it and I washed it with light colored and it looked fine, now I will have to purchase another olive green skirt from somewhere! I am not a happy person about how my skirt turned out! I ordered all the time and this is the worst item that I have ever ordered!

I have been looking for this exact skirt in black for a long time. Fit is perfect, fabric is high quality and I am very satisfied. So I got another one, in Khaki. It is more of a toast color, but man I love it. This one, before washing, seems a bit bigger than the other, but it in the laundry as we speak and I'm hoping, since it is 100% cotton, will come down a size. I am about 5'5" and it hits me mid-calf, which is ideal as far as I'm concerned. Buy this skirt. it is wonderful!!
