I have been very happy with this! I am naturally very pale and don't tan easily from time in the sun. Because in so pale, I was really scared to try an actual self tanner, as I fear streaks and discoloration would look very obvious on my skin. So, I was excited to hear about this gradual tanning lotion, hoping the application would be less risky and the result would look natural. I could see a slight difference after just one application! It was not obvious enough that my sister could tell, but I could. It looks very natural, and I have had no issues with smearing/uneven coloring/transferring to my clothes or sheets. For best results, I 1. Exfoliate and shave in the shower 2. WAIT for a day (or two) 3. Take another shower and THEN apply the lotion using the provided mit. A little bit goes a long way. Be sure to rub it in until it is absorbed like regular lotion. Your skin should not feel greasy afterward, just moisturized. 4. Wear loose clothes and avoid getting sweaty directly afterward This will be a repeat purchase for me! ... show more

This is a great product to add a nice bit of color to your skin with no orange tint. Like all self tanners, it might take a few applications to learn how best to apply it for yourself but once you know, it becomes an easy process.

I love the color of the tan but the chemical fragrance is WAY too strong. I applied it 3 hours ago and noticed a difference in the color of my skin. However, the strong fragrance is making me sick. I'm very disappointed that the company felt the need to put that many chemicals in this product. I would give it 5 stars if they removed the fragrance. I love my Jergens Natural Glow Self Tanner Body Lotion! I prefer the Fair to Medium option as I have 'Casper' pale skin. (Truly--I asked a family member if I was looking 'that' pale. Ugh: His answer? He said when I stepped outside in shorts my legs lit up the night sky. Ok, and so, I remembered my go-to to fix it.) What I love about Jergens Natural Glow Self Tanner is that the results are the prettiest golden shade, not orange, not an artificial bronze tone, which wouldn't be believable on my pale tones. It's that kind of golden tone one gets from a bit of summer sunshine. It's not a good idea to bake in the sun, or use dangerous tanning beds. I am not a youngster these days, far from it. I will not risk melanoma for the sake of vanity. And so I love using my Jergens to get a bit of gold on my skin. I have a very pale skin tone, so pale family members comment on it. Trust me--it's not a compliment. Jergens has a light, cheery fragrance, and isn't greasy or headache inducing. The fragrance is light and doesn't clash with your regular scent of choice. *You will want to wash hands after application, as your palms with also tan if not cleansed. Results last a while and the tan builds with repeated applications. Massage with caution for best results to get a believable glow. Since hosiery is long out of style, ladies who opt to wear dresses or skirts in warmer climates might want to give this a try if you chose to go without hose or tights.
