I was looking for a birthday present for my niece, turning one year old. I went to Target, looking for something she may be interested in. The whole situation was pretty hard to gauge as she lives a few states away. I got overwhelmed trying to force a gift idea that wouldn't have worked out. I went home and went online so see what other options were available. I would this, and I figured this would make a great gift. It's intended to stimulate the babies sensory, while keeping them entertained, and has some learning value to it. I went ahead and made the order. About four or five days later, the typical Amazon brown box showed up in the mail. I opened it and was please to see that the book was wrapped adequately, and was also still sealed in its packaging. Perfect for baby as sanitary condition is always a concern. The book is very soft, and colorful. Several different types of felts and other textiles were used. It also seemed very durable and easy to clean. I was very happy with this purchase, and received a thank you from her parents saying how great of an idea this was.
