These were a straight forward installation- clean sill, swab with included mini alcohol wipe, pull off 2 red adhesive strip covers, align arrow to frame seam & vertical edge to Jeep’s vertical sill edge, press in place, repeat. These Wrangler ones arrived with each in their own bag w/a mini wipe. Although unnecessary, the bag w/the right side one in it was labeled for the right side. These are a little narrower than some I got in 2011, but will still help keep the paint on the sill so rust doesn’t decide to dwell there:) Doors close fine with them installed. ... show more

    • OEM very nice looking!
1) OAT needs to be above 60 deg F. 2) There is a right and left side labeled on the back. 3) Place the arrow on the seam of the body with the strips facing up and down as pictured on the instruction sheet. Don't forget to clean with iso swabs. 4) Now what they don't print, but show in the picture. As you place pressure to hold it down and against the lip of the body, pull the outside strip FIRST! It will stick very firm and you won't worry about its shifting position. 5) Now you could even use a popsicle stick to gently lift the inside lip to pull the inside strip without concern of it tearing off prematurely. Of course, my wife had to tell me that's my style. It will lay down right where to set it as the outside tape holds it in place. They look really nice and should offer some scuff protection. ... show more

Easy install. A must I think to help prevent scuffs on entry to Jeep. Not sure why a 40000+ Jeep didn’t come with in first place but hey it a Jeep we work to accessorize lol

As was expected, these Mopar door sill guards are well made, look great and were easy to install. I would give them a 5 start review if it weren't for this Prime vendor saying they had them in stock when they really didn't. In spite of them creating a shipping label as soon as I placed my order, it took them almost a week longer to have these delivered to me. It literally took almost 3 weeks to get. I should have just cancelled my order but didn't want to wait even longer to get them. With that said, I would highly recommend these sill guards but I would buy them from a different vendor. Update: I bumped this review to 3 stars from 1 and because the vendor was nice enough to send me a refund for all the trouble. ... show more
