Let me start by saying that I have used a lot of high end moisturizers. The one's made for men as well as for women. I have paid up to $100 an ounce. This works as good as any of them and with a far better fragrance. It has a natural and fresh scent and does not smell chemically or perfumey. I am allergic to many, if not most cosmetics, shampoos, soaps and in particular lotions. I have no more reaction to this than if it was water. I have used it as a facial and body moisturizer, a hand lotion and a shave balm. If I want my skin to be soft for date, I will use it as a body moisturizer. Because it is not perfumey, I can use as much as I want and not smell like a perfume counter. It has such a clean scent, that even if I use a lot on my skin, I can still put on a nice cologne and it does not compete or distort the scent. The texture is slightly runny, as with most moisturizers. See picture. This allows it to spread on easily and thinly. You dont need a lot. It disappears very quickly as it absorbs into the skin. I cant take a picture of invisible, so I ran a finger through a drop of it and photographed that. It kind of shows how quickly it absorbs. I do not like anything that feels greasy or thick on my skin. I am VERY VERY picky about that. So it says something that I LOVE this stuff. It should be called Grapefruit & Ginger. The scent leans heavily towards grapefruit, I'm unsure why they called it citrus, and the ginger scent is only a very light undertone. Sometimes I get hungry when I use it. =) I have also purchased the Jason vitamin E oil in the same scent. I really like that as well, but discovered that it works really well to put a dime sized drop of this on your palm and then a couple drops of the vitamin E oil on top, then rub your palms together and apply. It does wonders for the skin. Bottom line is that it works great as a lotion, moisturizer, shave balm or skin softener. Very natural and light on the skin without feeling greasy or goopy. I highly recommend it, and given the quality, the price is VERY reasonable.

I really didn't like the smell of this product as it reminded me of the cheap after shave old men use. It also reminds me of dollar store cologne. Either way, it doesn't smell great, and my girlfriend agrees. Also, it takes a while for the moisturizer to absorb into my skin. Great value, but would not buy again due to the smell and the moisturizer taking forever to absorb into my skin.

I used to get the JASON calming anti-razor burn lotion with calendula. Amazon used to sell the calenula one in the 8 oz for $3.75 as an add-on item. Haven't seen any Amazon add-on items in a long time, wish they still did that. the anti-razor burn version jumped up to $15, then disappeared entirely. I found this and decided to try it. I like it, not as much as the anti-razor burn location but its nice, a little thinner, spreads better but the bottle wont last as long (thinner and half the size). The calendula version went on heavier and it made me want to spread it over my whole face and forehead. this one doesn't/hasn't inspired me to do that....still looking, but still a nice product at a reasonable post pandemic price...when I was a kid it only cost a nickle.
