My son is a die hard San Francisco 49ers fan so he purchased the red JanSport school bag for High School and he loves it. Apparently you have to have JanSport school bag if you want to be cool in High School. This is such a timeless, classy backpack that looks gorgeous and well made with high quality material. We all have been Jansport fans. The lasting quality in these bags have been amazing and worth the price. As a mama, I still have mine from the 90's that I used in high school and it's now being used by my oldest daughter. This purple one we just bought is for my younger daughter...both daughters love Jansport and is excited to keep using them for the upcoming school year. Worth every penny spent.

The listing for this backpack is misleading. This item came up as a "laptop" backpack. I ordered because from the listing and reading the information I thought that I was getting a backpack with a built in laptop sleeve to cut down on the hassle of digging out the laptop case and trying to shuffle it around with textbooks and notebooks/etc. The pattern is super cute and I ordered it for the Golden Girls vibe- would have been perfect if it had the laptop sleeve.

This backpack looks even better in person! This is my most favorite pattern that I’ve had in a backpack. Pluses: *Lots of room, very spacious *Lots of different pockets to store things. *Beautiful Pattern, bright bold colors *well made. Not a cheap bag The negatives: *The straps are ok on comfort (not as soft as some others) *Only one water bottle pocket on the side *the zippers are slightly hidden, which makes it difficult to see where they are when you need them. I know that sounds trivial, but when you are trying to zip and unzip the bag, I feel like I’m constantly running my hand over the bag trying to find the zipper *It is front heavy when you have the bag full, and falls forward. I do wish backpacks would sit upright when you place them on the floor instead of falling over. Other than that I absolutely love this bag!

It’s perfect. Not too big from the outside but huge roomy pockets - and so many too! Three big back sections/pockets (one is a padded laptop pocket - a must) and three small ones in the front. Sturdy like most Jansport packs are. Perfect for back to school. Love the dark blue which is vibrant

I am a healthcare worker who works in the Covid unit. I bought this bag because it has two storage compartments that allow me to separate clean clothes from dirty ones. I still use plastic bags to make it impermeable, but at least I know that I’m lessening the chance that the clean clothes I wear home from work aren’t bringing anything on them to my family.

It’s huge! I was still using my previous very basic JanSport backpack (daily for 10 years!) It could go another year no doubt but the zipper on the small pocket broke (part-way, still usable) long ago and it’s getting a bit long in the tooth. Not a student but I walk everywhere and consider my backpack like the trunk of a car. This new one fits everything without needing an extra bag (or two) when I’m out shopping. I love all the compartments, their placement and size. I don’t have a laptop but it would be perfect. Settles on my back well. Kinda wish I’d gotten it sooner! The color is a beautiful red that changes hue just a touch in different lighting.

I have had JanSport backpacks since I was in high school, in fact I still have my backpack from high school! So I'm brand loyal in getting JanSports for my kids, who 2 are now high schooler's, my 1 still in elementary and even as a diaper bag for my littlest. You can not beat the quality, dependability and even the pricing. My daughter loves the print on this one, the pink and palms is striking and the fabric is sturdy. It has so many pockets! She's thrilled because it helps keep her more organized, so she can find what she needs in class quickly and keeps things from bumping around. My kids have all talked me into getting them a different brand backpack before, usually for the trendy characters, and we always come back to Jansport.
