This measuring spoon is perfect for measuring out a half teaspoon (1 gram) of something like powdered supplements or baking powder. We all have that ring of eight measuring spoons that is supposed to be for baking, but it is a bit unwieldy and then you have to wash all the spoons when one gets dirty.
