I did a bunch of research and basically took a chance on these skates. So glad I did!! #1 recommendation was having the right fit (not too snug, but not too big: Goldilocks Fit-Needs to be just right). I measured my foot and ordered a size 8 based on the sizing chart. Fit was perfect. #2 recommendation was to have some type of padding within the ankle of the skate. I'm so grateful that I listened to this. These skates fit this requirement perfect!! Very comfy, no scraping on my ankles!! I'm 41 and I haven't skated in over five years. I skated once or twice if at all for the previous 12 years. I bought 2 skates, womens size 6 and 7 for my daughters. They both fit great. I'm always buying this brand and model since they are little girls. I suggest to order your size. If you're between size, up half size because this shoes are a bit narrow. Hope this will help.

They are amazing skates but I donโ€™t recommend if ur trying to go far into figure skating like itโ€™s a good recreational skate or a early beginner skate but I recommend you get something better and go to a pro shop to get fitted If you wanna go far without spending more than you need to. i hope my review helps :) ... show more

After sharpening the blades at a local ice rink, I've enjoyed these skates so much. The uppers are much more comfortable than the hard sided rental ones. I feel confident wearing them and my feet appreciate the wide toe box.

My regular shoe size is 9 and ordered size 9 for this skate. This doesnโ€™t come sharpened so I had to sharpen them before skating. Good ankle support/ bit stiff (hopefully Iโ€™ll break into it soon) super comfy. overal happy purchase!
