Very uncomfortable, put an uncomfortable pressure in a weird spot on my arch. Thought they would break in but they are super hard I've had them a year and I absolutely hate them. Switched back to my old pair because these are painful.

Ordered these for my 9yr old daughter who wears a size 1-2 in regular shoes. We ordered a size 2 in the skates (according to fit and other reviews) and unfortunately they are too uncomfortable for her to wear. The skates themselves are beautiful and she absolutely LOVED them at first sight. We will order a bigger size and I will update the review according the the first of the next pair. My daughter loves her new skates! She has been taking lessons now for a month and it’s so much easier to put on her skates and jump on the ice. These lace nicely (although the laces were way too long) and provide the support needed for at least the first few iterations of skating lessons. She's able to do swizzles and starting backwards skating. She doesn't complain about the stiffness that she felt in another beginner pair, also by Jackson. I decided to ta a leaf of faith when I purchased 2 pairs of these ice skates. Both of my girls have never been on ice before this year. After wearing them, both love their skates and reportedly adjusted well. No callouses, or redness, on their feet, ankles, or shins. Their instructors have commented on how well they move on the ice. I haven’t skated in over 30 years and hadn’t heard of this brand but when I went to get them sharpened before using them (this was recommended to me by a person who skates a lot), I noticed they sold them at the ice rink I went to for the sharpening.
