These skates are beautiful and comfortable. BUT do not trust the “factory sharpened” ready-to-skate right out of the box claims! We took these to open skate to try out and my daughter could only skate in a straight line and she could not stop. There was NO edge. We took these to get sharpened by our skate club and our guy said they were so badly sharpened that the blade was almost ruined. That being said he was able to fix them and now they skate beautifully. They have great ankle support, are very comfy, and seem good quality to last a long time. ... show more

These ice skates are great if you're just starting out or just wanting your own pair of ice skates. I've had them for about a year now and I love them. My feet do get cold pretty quickly as these are obviously not meant for warmth so if you're skating outside it might be nice to consider one of their fleece versions.
