Description

Jackson Ultima is a global manufacturer of figure skates, boots, and blades. Our expertise and passion for the sport is embodied in Jackson Ultima’s commitment to technology that enhances the performance of competitive skaters. We also offer a complete range of recreational figure and leisure skates to enhance the pleasure and enjoyment of all skaters. Jackson Skates are designed with specific Support Ratings to ensure the boot has the appropriate level of support for the skater's skill level and body characteristics. We then match the boot with the appropriate blade design. From Ultima Mark II to Mark IV on the Ascend Series, no other skate manufacturer comes close to our skate offering. Our Skates are the Perfect Match between comfort, support, & design in both the boot and blade. Each skate is designed with specific Support Ratings to ensure the boots have the appropriate level of support for the skater’s skill level and body characteristics. Here are a few tips to assist in selecting the correct size: • Take measurements in the socks that will be used while skating. • Stand on a sheet of paper. • Have someone else place a mark at your longest toe and at your heel. The pen should be straight up and down to determine the proper length. • Remove the foot and measure the distance between both marks in inches; repeat with your second foot. • Using the longer measurement of your two feet, select the most appropriate size. Do not select a size that is smaller than the length of your longest foot. Please Note: • Determining skate size by comparing to street shoe sizing is difficult as both are sized for different movements; skates are sized to glide with little foot movement while shoes are sized to allow for more flex when walking. • Skates generally have a snug fit to ensure the foot does not move; this type of fit may not suit everyone. Sizing is provided as a guideline only and should not replace proper fitting completed by an authorized Jackson Ultima Retailer.

  • Good skates
Color: White Size: 13 C Girl's
Great.. Exactly what we needed for my daughter’s ice skating lessons. These are a little sturdier/stiffer skates so may feel a bit uncomfortable for beginners/small kids. But the sturdier material is necessary for advanced skaters. I do recommend buying waxed laces separately.

  • 100% Recommend
Color: White Size: 8 C Women's
One of the blade mount isn’t centered or mounted the same as the other. Other than that I love them. I don’t like long lace’s so I’m getting new ones.

  • Narrow-ish for wider foot
Color: White Size: 8.5 C Women's
Arrived on time. Pretty skate ut apparently the "C" width isn't going to work for me and the 8.5, which is my size felt like a 7.5. Will have to return and get a 9.5 with a "D" width. Otherwise, Jackson never disappoints in quality of the boot and blade. Worth the $300.... :-)

  • Great beginner figure skate
Color: White Size: 8 C Women's
This is a great pair of beginner figure skate, I ordered through Amazon for faster shipping and it came faster than I would've gotten from Jackson website. The size was perfect for me and I'm so glad I didn't have to return for the size. I wear size 8 shoes and I have relatively wide feet. 8C was perfect for me. It was very tight in the beginning but I got used to it after 3-4 wears. I recommend wearing men's dress socks. The figure skating thighs didn't provide much support and were too thin. Regular socks were too thick. Thinner socks work perfect for me. I weigh quite a lot but still skate in these with no problem. I will probably have to upgrade at some point but these are great skates for beginners especially they aren't too stiff that I can really work on my knee bend and edge control. ... show more

  • CHECK YOUR BLADE MOUNTING!!! Poor / Cheap mounting causes Ankle Problem and is Dangerous! CHECK YOUR BLADE MOUNTING!!! Poor / Cheap mounting causes Ankle Problem and is Dangerous!
Color: White Size: 11 B Women's
As a new figure skate Mom, I bought these shoes thinking they would help my daughter learn to skate. Unfortunately, I didn't understand that figure stakes have to have the blades installed correctly for them to work, and they are technically made to be adjustable. In this case, my daughter's skates were misaligned, but since we were new to skating we didn't know. They didn't even mention it... Now a year later, my daughter is having ankle problems and keeps getting told she's skating on her "outside edge" and is no longer getting better. Well, tonight I looked at her skates and figured out why... the blades aren't centered... at all. I added a photo of how the blade should look when you get them to ensure they are mounted correctly. Ours were not. If you look at the photo, you can see that they mounted them too far "in" which then caused my daughter to try to balance on the "outer edge" since this was closer to her center of gravity. This hurt her ankle, and made staking very difficult. Very disappointed. These skates basically cost her WAY more than even the most expensive skates possible since she basically lost a year of skating experience and... even worse... they are actually dangerous as they can cause injuries. CHECK YOUR MOUNTING... or better yet, get skates somewhere else. ... show more
