These are comfortable "thin" shoes to wear in the house with carpet. It's not as flimsy as socks but conform to the feet. The soles are thin and can wear out soon, as I experienced from my last pair. However, I liked them enough to buy another pair.

I have been swimming as part of my physical therapy regimen but the public pool where I go has circles sculptured into the concrete around the pool to help prevent slippage. I normally don't ever go barefoot anywhere else so the bottom of my feet are quite sensitive. The circular indentions are uncomfortable for me to walk on and if anyone picks up a piece of grit with their sandals and tracks it into the pool area, the grit can be downright painful if I step on it. These lightweight water shoes have just enough of a thin vinyl sole to eliminate the discomfort of walking on the concrete without interfering with my swimming. ... show more

The item arrived fairly quickly, however, the packaging left me and the Post Office clerk gobsmacked. It arrived in a clear plastic bag with a slider closure. Are you kidding me! Anyone could have put something else in the bag, easily removed the shoes, etc. Not to mention that my purchasing privacy was violated. My neighbors and I quickly brainstormed what other products could have been very embarrassing to be seen by others. Also, what if it was a gift for someone? The product itself is stretchy, very thin material so I'm interested to see if there will be sufficient protection for the bottom of my foot (we'll see), at first glance I didn't think the shoes would be large enough but they did fit!
