  • Amazing Jackets
Amazing product with great quality. This jacket is exactly how it’s described and it’s worth to get one. I got an XL size for my husband that usually wear XL tshirts and jackets and it fits well.

  • Not bad for the price
Armor it comes with is a little thin. I added CE Level 2, left the original in, the more the better! The hard outside right shoulder armor cracked a little & got a small tear back shoulder. Late night coming around a corner at about 20-25 mph turning right. A tall dark person all dressed in black clothing, not in a crosswalk, it was about 30 feet after the crosswalk. Did not see him until he looked at me. Then stepped out in-front of me like he was trying to get hit. No way I could stop in time. Other choice was tighten the turn head towards the curb, nope. Decided to go behind him as he was moving forwards. Unfortunately, there are train tracks for the trolley. I was not completely up straight or able to cross the track at 45. Soon as my front tire hit that shiny smooth train track. Front end went out, down I went. Landed on my right side fairly hard. Knocked the wind out of me, the person who walked in front of me, lumbered off like nothing had happened. Fortunately not hurt bad, some torn rib cartilage, landed on my right side ribs, yet no broken bones. Cracked the hard armored right shoulder a little and tear on back of the shoulder. Right elbow only some scratches on the hard plastic. Did what it was intended to do. Putting the CE Level 2 soft armor in, leaving the soft armor that came with the coat in. Level 2 on the inside against my body, it is much softer, original soft'ish armor on the outside. Certainly helped cushion the initial impact. Real glad I doubled up the soft armor. If I had not put that Level 2 Armor in. I am sure I would have been hurting a lot more the next day. This jacket is not as good as one of the well known name brands. This will not provide the kind of protection at speed, like the name brand ones will at 3-6 times the cost. If you cannot afford the better jackets, and need a budget jacket with some outside hard armor. It is a lot better than nothing. Upgrade it by purchasing CE Level 2 Soft Armor. If you go down, you will thank yourself, money well spent. ... show more

  • Snug and Safe
Can't say enough about this moderately priced, perfect fit jacket, and with the armor on the outside! Brilliant: no more adjusting, shifting your armor while riding.... only the spine armor is inside; well made, fit my 5' 4" , 142 lbs frame to a T -- tapers slightly from shoulder to waist, so you look like Arnold [kind of]... a real buy, and the ORANGE screams "here I am " to all the blind entrances!!! ... show more

  • Nice jacket BUT IT SMELLS TOXIC
Hand washed it by soaking it in bath tub. Put it in direct sunlight for 3 days. Smell got less but is still there. I smell like a toxic plastic factory. As much as I would love to wear it (love the look and protection features), but it just smells too much - sorry, returning it.

  • It's great at this price point.
Size: X-Large Color: Hi-vis Green
I saw the same jacket elsewhere online but the reviews were all over the map on sizing, and I didn't want to hassle with returning it if it didn't fit right. So I found the same jacket on Amazon for $10 more and ordered it. I'm 5'11" and 210 pounds. I usually wear XL and the XL fits me just fine. The liner is quilted so a little warmer and has one internal pocket with a velcro flap. Each liner sleeve fastends in 2 places and the liner zips in. I'm heading to Cycle Gear tomorrow to replace the shoulder and back and elbow pads with D3O armor, but other than that, it looks like a great jacket.. ... show more

  • Made for the most odd shaped hominid
I don't know anyone who fit this. All my friends tried it on and none of them could make it so the protective pads were where they are supposed to be, while the jacket actually fit them. It's like they made it for a weird monkey or something that has proportions where the distance from elbow to shoulder is the same an the distance from their neck to shoulder. If you have the right length arm for the sleeve and the elbow pad lines up with your elbow, then the shoulder pad is half way down your bicep! Weirdest shaped body too. Like a parrel chested fat person. I think this jacket was maybe made for Orangutans? Definitely not normal human proportions. ... show more
