Jabra PanaCast is engineered to be the world’s first 180° Panoramic-4K plug- and-play video conferencing solution, designed to bring huddle rooms to life with high-definition video. It’s the perfect partner for the Jabra Speak range that offers an unrivalled combination of crystal-clear audio and Panoramic-4K video, to bring virtual meeting participants and huddle room attendees closer together. PanaCast features three 13-megapixel cameras, which stream continuously, and patented real-time video stitching technology to create a full, 180° view of the huddle room in Panoramic-4K. This view mimics what we naturally see, and therefore creates a more inclusive human perspective, with no blind spots or missing participants. This camera for video conferencing is the only plug-and-play solution available which provides a full field of vision, with most wide-angle cameras offering a maximum horizontal field of view of 120°. Exclusive to the Jabra Panacast, Intelligent Zoom detects where the people are and automatically and continuously adjusts the field of view to include everyone in the conversation. Plus, Vivid HDR automatically optimizes video quality under a wide range of lighting conditions. This inclusive virtual meeting camera features plug-and-play technology, which means that the device is incredibly easy to set up and use. Simply plug the Jabra PanaCast into your computer’s USB port, and it’s ready to provide you and your remote colleagues with a clear, panoramic view of the room. With certification for Microsoft Teams and compatibility with leading audio and video-conferencing solutions, you can be sure that the PanaCast is compatible with your set up. • TERRIBLE PRODUCT AND SELLER
Size: Webcam Style: PanaCast Webcam
As other 1 star reviewers have stated, this device is not plug and play, has trouble working with Mac laptops and works when it wants to. On top of that, the seller refuses to refund you, even if you return it within 30 days and follow their return policy. After they receive the product back, they say they need a support ticket number from Jabra in order to return it and that they will send it back to you at your expense, etc... We are a reputable IT company who has spent over $500,000 on Amazon and return less than 1% of what we buy. Take our advice and buy from another seller, if you decide to buy this product at all. I generally like Jabra products, but this one is subpar and overpriced. This item is basically a glorified webcam that costs 10 times more than a webcam. Make sure you read all of the documentation and know what you are getting and its capabilities so you aren't unhappy. There is also the compatibility issue, which means it may or may not work for you. It has know issues with Macs and is very buggy. in the event that you have compatibility issues like many, you will then have to deal with returning the item for a refund which will waste a ton of time. This cam is not worth the money or risk. ... show more

  • Expensive, but it’s the mother of all conference room WebCams.
Size: Webcam Style: PanaCast Webcam
This is the mother of all conference room cameras. If you are trying to avoid the “pinhead“ problem with teleconferences where you got a wide angle conference and camera to fit everyone in but can’t see any of their faces, this is the camera for you. It is “plug and play“ with most common teleconferencing apps and was recognized immediately as an external USB camera on my iMac. It defaults to “panorama mode“ where the input from each of the three cameras on the front of the device are seamlessly find it together to give you a uninterrupted view of the room in front. This works best when it is placed on a small tripod at face level for all of the participants. The camera quality is good enough that you can clearly make out a facial features/expressions of all of those participating, a welcome change from most webcams in this conference room setting. I was also unable to get the iMac to recognize the Jabra as an external microphone, but again, this was not a real negative as I already had an external microphone and was mainly looking for the camera features of this device. Using the Jabra app gives you several additional options such as “zooming in“ to narrow the field of view a little bit. I did not have much luck with the “intelligent zoom“ feature which supposedly will focusing on the face of the person speaking. My issue with this was that it was human, but with such a delay that it would often miss the person speaking. Despite the fact that this feature does not work so well, the high-resolution panoramic view that you can get from this camera is really second to none for teleconferencing and I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Not worth it
Size: Webcam Style: PanaCast Webcam
I did a LOT of research on the best camera for our conference room, and decided to go with the Jabra Panacast based on the glowing reviews and product videos I watched. When it comes down to it, I expected HD quality video (at least in line with my standard Logitech webcam I have at home) and it was an extremely low quality video feed. I messed around with the settings for 2 hours, tried 2 different devices, no luck. Not sure if it's a Mac thing or what. I tried it with a brand new M1 Mac as well as a 2019 16 inch Macbook Pro. The day after receiving this, I bought the Anker Conference camera for 1/5 of the price, plugged it in, and got the HD video feed I was looking for, with the wide field of view, and auto focus that I was looking for. Not sure what happened in my experience compared to what other people are experiencing but it was definitely a miss. I like Jabra products in general, and actually have one of their speakerphones as part of our conference room set up. ... show more

  • Great but...
Size: Webcam Style: PanaCast Webcam
There is no software to control the camera to stay on at 180 degrees. The YouTube Jabra support team lied to me and said it'd work great for a dance studio. No it doesn't. It cuts in and out and gets confused with all the movement. You need to come up with a software application that can be used to control and direct the 3 cameras either individually or all at once. A dance studio needs them all working at once, not cutting in and out. I intend to resale this one and look for a better studio camera solution for virtual competition and convention attendance for the dancers. All three cameras need the controllability by the user to stay on 180 degrees. Liers for a sale. I'm so disappointed in this very expensive piece of equipment. ... show more

  • Solid Camera with Multiple Options
We bought (12) of these cameras for use in a classroom. We have only set them up a tested them at this point in preparation for students returning in the fall. In the test the video was very clear. We are using them to connect to Zoom which downgrades the quality a bit. However, as Zoom improves we feel it will be able to better handle the camera’s abilities. The field of view is great with 180 degrees. We compared it to a Logitech wide-angle camera and the Jabra offered much more field of view. There was a neat feature where the camera only showed video when there was motion. So if the left side of the room only had participants it would just show that. We plan to explore that feature more. We downloaded the software that accompanies the camera and it’s got several options. We are now diving into it to see how we can best configure the camera. The is a very special use camera, but seems to work great for its purpose. ... show more
