The bright, shiny, gold rounded long links of this chain make it look very expensive. I'm using all 5 meters for one project that I'm pretty proud of. I recently acquired several dozen beautiful vintage glass Christmas ornaments. I want to display them but know better than to put them on a tree where they'll be at the mercy of my very spoiled orange cat. I was taking down a couple of Halloween banners when I realized I could display them across my big front windows, high above my cat's reach. There's enough on this spool to make one loop across the entire window and a second one above it across the middle picture window. I already had a couple of fancy, curled gold wire ornament hooks (and have more on order) and the combination looks great! I'm impressed with the shine. Great gold chain, very nice for making charm bracelets. It's a very shiny, vibrant gold color rather than too yellow or brassy looking. With all of the jump rings, clasps, and the length of chain provided, you can make quite a few bracelets with this set all by itself. It's a great addition to any jewelry maker's supplies. My daughter is very happy with it.

I make jewelry from time to time but also use chains like this to decorate homemade journals. This particular chain is perfect for the journal I am currently working on that has a cover with gold trim so I'll be adding it tomorrow. I'm excited for that. It's a great look for my journal cover. This isn't really a chain I would wear myself as a necklace but I'd probably wear it as a bracelet - probably with multiple strands of chain. The chunkiness of this chain would work well for that. It seem like it would hold up quite well. The findings that come with the chain look good (jump rings and lobster claw clasps) although I haven't tried using them yet. Overall a good item, very glad I ordered it. Recommended.

i like this chain. The texture makes it look really nice. It is lightweight since it is aluminum. It is easy to work with. The links cut easy and you can also open the links, but you need to be careful since it is aluminum, it is easy to misshape it when closing the link again.

It states "not easy to break" but id have to disagree. I'm using it for a DIY project and not for jewelry wearing. I was able to use my hands to easily twist and break the lengths needed (worth noting I dont have great hand strength). So I don't think that's super durable. Fortunately for me it works out but as far as jewelry wearing I can't attest to how well it would hold up. Good amount on the roll and nice it comes with clasps.
