I took a chance on these boots and I totally love them and would recommend. I have worn barefoot or minimalist shoes exclusively for 6 years and I had a very hard time finding barefoot western style boots. I ordered international Koel brand and they were okay, but looked more like western muck boots that were also felt lined…so not good for Texas heat. I ordered these J’ole because of the wide toe box and no arch and relatively low heel. They are so comfortable I didn’t want to take them off. The sole is not flexible and yes, there’s a heel, but they look nice and work for me. I’ll keep searching for an all leather boot, but for now I find these great. A year later and I still love them. I’ve worn them out and about and danced in them too.

Got these for a very dear friend awhile back and 5 months later she still loves them and wears them quite often. When I bought them it took 5 days to arrive on my doorstep. Bought them with the intention to upgrade her to Ariat after these wore out which I thought based on reviews would be 2 months max, but I was wrong. These are still kicking dirt around and being worn almost everyday wether it's all day or just for a couple hours. Ofcourse they now have scuffs but the only real wear is on the heel from heel drag. I've polished them twice and it didn't ruin or tarnish and of the finish which is easy to do in a cheaper boot. Obviously these aren't ariat or even Justin quality but they will last. I still plan on getting her Ariats for her birthday now, but these will be a great 2nd pair. I would 100% recommend these as a 1st pair or play pair of boots to anybody looking for a throw around pair.

So I've only had these an hour (will leave a second review after a few weeks) but at first glance, I'm in love! They are surprisingly good quality for the cost. Love the square toe. Bought to size and they fit great. Love the colors, the vibe, all of it. I have been trying to find a pair I like for some time and it's taken awhile, til now. The only "opportunity" is the opening up top (see pic) is a little wide. But not enough for me to return them - #love!!!

I bought these boots to wear at an event but by the time i wore them and found out they hurt, the return window was closed and I am unable to return them. Although these boots fit, after walking in them for about 20 min they started to hurt. They rubbed so hard on my both my baby toes that it took off a layer of skin. I had to take them off and walk barefoot until I could get home.
