Description

The JAG mesh motorcycle protective shirt is built for riders who want lightweight coverage without the bulk of a traditional jacket. Five removable CE-certified level 2 protectors for shoulders, elbows, and level 1 protector for back, creating an armored motorcycle shirt that supports key impact areas while remaining flexible for everyday riding. Soft breathable mesh and stretch fabric panels help air move through the garment during warm-weather rides. The slim, fitted construction keeps the protectors close to the body while allowing natural movement, making it a practical summer motorcycle shirt for street riding, commuting, touring, motocross, and dirt bike use. A full-length front zipper gives this motorcycle riding shirt three wearing options: use it as a standalone protective shirt, a lightweight mesh jacket, or an armored undershirt beneath outer motorcycle gear for all-season layering. Sublimated color designs give it the appearance of a regular biker shirt, so it can be worn comfortably on and off the bike. The removable shoulder, elbow, and ventilated back protectors make cleaning and storage easier. Remove all armor before cleaning and follow the sewn-in care instructions. Designed as motorcycle shirts for men and women, this motorcycle shirt with armor combines breathable comfort, a close fit, long-sleeve coverage, and versatile layering for riders who want practical protection in warmer conditions.

Just what the summer time riders need
Size: Large Color: White
This is what I was looking for especially in summer weather !!! This is perfect for hot weather season , wearing a flannel or a sweater gets too hot, even the so call summer jackets with all the padding get hot as well. This is perfect i wear a regular T-shirt over the mesh long sleeve shirt , to give that old school thermal look. The biggest difference is that this give you protection and because it mesh way way cooler than a summer jacket or flannel with pads . I recommend this for sure. As far as fit I did order a Large that fits perfect as I wear underneath my regular tshirt .am 5’7 200 lbs with an athletic build . Now if you have a belly I suggest one size up as it does fit like a thermal or rash guard shirt would fit close to your body . My only gripe which is small but definitely not a deal breaker I wish it was a pull over instead of the zipper . Again not a deal breaker , but other than that this is Awsome !!! ... show more

Excellent, size is pretty close, looks good, and should be fairly cool on hot days. (mesh jacket)
Size: Small Color: Green
I first tried a different style and brand of protective CE riding jacket; I bought the HWK jacket in small, and it wore like an xl , literally, the shoulder pads fell down to about triceps lol, and the elbow pads down to forearms, double lol, and wide enough that they would be baggy even for a pair of pants. :smi, the jacket did look pretty decent though. ----- This Mesh jacket/shirt I have trouble with sizing, 5' 5'' 123 lbs, usually a med long sleeve shirt is perfect. I also did not want skin tight like the pictures of this mesh shirt/jacket indicate, I did not want that look. So it turns out this is just about right in small for me, the sleeves are right, and the pads about right, except for the back pad, it is way too heavy for the shirt/jacket, it pulls so hard on the shirt, that the front comes up to around my throat and back keeps falling down very uncomfortably. I took out the back pad, and ordered a thinish' motocross chest/back protector which makes more sense for what I want anyway. I bought this for my street-bike motorcycle riding. ------ The green stripes are ok, lighter more lime green/yellow would be preferred, but waht I didn't realize by looking at photos, was that when I put it on its WAY TOO MUCH with very 'busy' stripes/flames, particularly shoulder, upper arm area. Don't laugh now, I first tried to exchange but didn't find the right option for that, I figured on changing it for the darker one with barely visible stripes/flames, since that didn't work out, I took out a black spray can and lightly painted over the shoulder areas, so they weren't so boldly flammy.... leaving the forearm flames intact, DONE LOL, ------ The front zipper (only zipper I think) is amazing I don't believe I've ever had one on anything that zips up so smoothly. I think the mesh with allow a fair amount of wind/air to circulate and help keep me 'less hot' in the summer, while allowing a fair amount of protection. ... show more

Good for the price

No complaints. Fits well, nice stretch to the shirt.

Nice lightweight armored riding shirt. FINALLY!
Size: X-Large Color: Black
Finally a lightweight armored riding shirt that is a keeper! Good construction, mesh material, zipper, stitching. I bought a size up so I can wear a t-shirt underneath. CE protection is top notch. Better than I've seen (and bought) in other more expensive jackets. The back plate is substantial. I was a little disappointed on the black marks on the armor. I tried cleaning, but the marks don't come off. Still, a 5 star buy. . ... show more

Not the best quality and I wouldn't buy it again.
Size: Large Color: Black
I like the fact that it is cooler than my flannel type shirt jacket but even though I measured and bought the size the chart recommended it seems to fit everywhere but the back area or it has a defect. The back pad kept handing way down from the back side and I tried to stick it in my waistband but it wouldn't stay. Other than that it seemed to work good although i'm not sure how protective it would actually be. I would send it back but I cut the tags out because they were itchy. I wore it with a tshirt over it. ... show more

JUST DON’T BUY! Go the extra mile
Size: X-Large Color: White
I can’t in good conscience recommend this thing. It’s just a fashion garment, not for protection. Looks cool and has armor and all that and fits well, but PLEASE look at the fabric and STITCHES. If you have an accident, the moment you touch the ground the fabric will disintegrate and the armor will go flying and you’ll end up, if you’re lucky, with awful road rash. Just spend the money and go with an actual brand that’s certified. - Spending double the money may seem like a lot now but you’ll never regret it if you have an accident. Is your life worth that little? ... show more

Nice jacket. Good value.
Size: Large Color: White
Just got this jacket. I love it. Very cool on the ride. It’s cooled down the last few days but it’s very breathable. Much more than my mesh jacket. Note it’s very much a new style of jacket for me. Very minimalistic. My only nit is there are no pockets. But that’s ok trade off for the breath ability. I like the white. Has no weird styling colors or patterns. ... show more

Best of them all but still retains a lot of heat .
Size: X-Large Color: White
It fits well … I’m 5:11 at 185 and the XL was a perfect fit. Here’s my problem … I bought this for hot temps and some protection. Yes it works … but … at 92 degrees today I had to take it off. Yes it breathes a little but … not enough. I’ve come to the conclusion there is no hot weather motorcycle protective mesh armored shirt or whatever . I’ve had 2 others and 1 very expensive brand that starts with the letter K … but this is the lightest and probably the best … but … again … there is no such thing as an armored mesh shirt that actually isn’t like wearing an oven . If I was you g down the Highway probably OK but … sitting in traffic … not happening . ... show more
