Love IZOD jeans. They fit perfect. But the reason for the low rating (and I need to find out who I purchased these from so I don't make the same mistake) the jeans smell like someone defecated (pooped) in them. I took the tags off and washed them and the smell is still there. Someone suggested I wash them in simple green and that should get the smell out. I will try. But when I washed them I washed with other cloths and the smell got into them as well. I was sitting having lunch today with a friend and they said something really stinks bad. (It was me, and I wasn't even wearing the jeans, I was wearing the cloths I washed them with). Like I said, I will try to wash in simple green. If that doesn't work. These jeans are no doubt made from the softest jean material I have ever purchased. But that is where the benefits stop. I first bought 3 pair of these from a retailer with a 38 waist. I have always worn a 38. However, these stretched so much that I could barely keep them on. I had already washed them, so i could not return. Then I ordered a 36 waist from Amazon. These still stretch a lot, but not quite as bad and hold up better, just not as good as I would expect. They both also have an issue with the button hole being too large causing them to unbutton on their own, and especially when trying to unzip the pants. It would also be a benefit is there was at least one more belt loop, preferably two. Will I recommend? No. Will I buy again? No I have always lived by the "Get what you pay for" theory. That especially holds true with these jeans. The price alone should have signaled me to not buy. ... show more

Excellent pair of jeans, they are very lightweight and comfortable, they stretch a lot. These jeans also look great and the material is very soft. I would definitely buy more pairs of these jeans and would definitely recommend these jeans to anyone that is interested in buying a good comfortable and lightweight pair of jeans that are also easy to iron. I'm 6'1", 190 Lbs., and wear a 34X34, these jeans fit a little loose and could go down to a 32 waist. However, if I did that, they would fit like a glove and most men do not wear jeans that tight. My only complaint is the stitching, it is a bit sloppy and there were a few loose threads. However, it is really not a major problem and does not affect the performance and look of the jeans. ... show more

they are now my favorite pants. comfy. look good. fit well. they're great. will buy more. had them a few months. will buy more next time i need pants. and because they flex, they're great for working in. house work, yard work, manual labor. the flex means bending, sitting, kneeling, working in odd positions, are all comfortable and easy. at first i didn't like the flex, now i love it. makes mobility real easy. i moved recently, and used these for the 2 days of moving. made carrying, lifting, and just shifting all this weight everywhere super easy, rather than getting stuck at times in stiff pants that won't allow for some flexibility. and they look good too. the cuffs fall on my lacoste shoes well and appear stylish and good looking. will buy again. Update: bought a second pair, to match the first pair i got and liked so much. but the second pair is a totally different size and shape. the waist is bigger and the legs are looser. they're much baggier. but they're supposedly the exact same set of jeans. clearly, they're not the same. the second one is not the straight fit (which is a little tighter) the first set is. the second one seems more like a relaxed fit (looser and baggier). but all the tags and labels claim they're the same. but just putting them on, they're 2 totally different cuts, shapes, or and sizes, despite having matching labels. i want a refund on the second pair... but still LOVE the first. ... show more

The most comfortable pair of jeans I own is a pair of IZOD that I picked up on a whim from Costco, and (mistakenly) thought I was getting something similar with this purchase. Good lord, no. I bought the exact same size, but two big issues given that these are the "comfort stretch" design: 1) these jeans instead of fitting just right at the waist are several inches too big without including the enormous amount of stretch, and 2) the fabric instead of being jeans with a little extra flex for comfort is incredibly soft/thin with a massive amount of stretch no matter where you try it. I should not be able to stretch the legs of my jeans an extra 3" away from my legs. They weren't improperly labeled on the site, but make sure you know what you're getting into as not all IZOD jeans are created equal, and ultimately comfortable men's jeans were what I was looking for, not maternity pants. ... show more

I love Izod. I have to wonder if this is a cheap Chinese knock off. The quality is real cr*** it feels like yoga leotards. I believe that this is a knock off a counterfeit product. It arrived in a Costco bag and the senders name is Chinese. The advertised product reads " IZOD Comfort Stretch is designed with 98% cotton and 2% spandex; so the jeans move with you and maintains its shape during your active life." In fact the label says 65% cotton and the rest is synthetic. I tried it on and the waste is low, the legs are tight and I feel like I am wearing cheap junk. These are going back. ... show more

Update: I bought another pair last month, and while the fit is still great, the stitching on this pair looks like it was done by a 4-year-old (see photos). Didn't immediately notice this and it's too late ro return them or I would have done so. Probably will not buy these again despite being pleased with my previous pair. Really shoddy stitching on recent purchase is a deal breaker. Buyer beware. First pair review: fit as expected. Super comfortable. This is the second pair of Izod stretch I've purchased, I may have a new favorite brand. ... show more
