Each panel took about an hour to iron, but it was totally worth it - listen, WORTH IT. The adjustable pleat hooks are awesome and made it so I could hide the curtain track at the top. These just upgraded my dining room tenfold! Now the neighbors can't see us eating dinner naked. 👌👌

Exactly what we were looking for. They block so much light when they're closed for when we want to watch a movie. They look elegant and hang well. I recommend steaming them while they are hung up. Washing them does not get the creases out. The sliding glass door set of curtains is steamed and the living room set on the three windows is not steamed. The steaming is essential to get the pleats crisp. Comes with adjustable, plastic pleat hooks and we replaced them with metal, non-adjustable black hooks and hoops. Overall I would order these again. We purchased these for the living room and dining room (shown here). The material is very nice. And we like the appearance. The curtains were wrinkled out of the package but we hung them and then steamed them. The appearance is as seen in the attached image. We did not have them professionally steamed or pressed. I assume that would make them look even better. The adjustable hangers helped account for inaccuracies in measurement of the needed length. Would custom measured and hemmed curtains have been better, probably. However the cost would have been significantly greater. I have a large slider that faces directly south and I live in Florida. My TV sit directly opposite this large window. There is a slight tint on the windows, but the TV was totaly unwatchable midday in the summer even with light filtering curtains. I appreciate others wrote that beige wasn't really beige but lighter. I wanted lighter. These are a nice light neutral that goes unnoticed. I like they are soft and drapery, not lined with plastic like some blackout are. I also really appreciate the size choices. I used to have two panels per side, but now have only 1 panel per side which eliminates the gap between pannels. I ordered the 84w x 96l and they take 17 hooks. It's a bit cloudy out today, so the photo isn't showing off the light blocking as much as it could. I did machine wash cold (Florida summer cold so warm) tumble dry low. They needed to be ironed as the packing folds were still there somewhat. I have found that with other things as well so I am confident ironing will be necessary just that one time. ... show more
