We just got it. We were going to wait for Xmas but then decided not to. My 3 yr old loves it. Spends a lot of time playing on it. So far, it’s easy to vacuum with handheld Dyson because of where I have it and I only really focus on the low pile. Not sure if it’s east to clean from spills because we don’t let food/drinks in the playroom but I’m sure some sneak in so if we have accidents I’ll update. Hence the 4 starts cause not sure how well it does with spills. I want to give it 5 stars but for the size I thought it was too expensive. Yes the details are kind of hard to tell like other reviewers said but my child uses his imagination. My husband that it was a fair price. This was a birthday present for my son and we looked everywhere for a play rug that included a place for planes to play as well as cars . That being said this was about all we could find , but other than that it was not worth the $100. The colors are nothing like pictured, the images printed on the rug look more like little blobs than they do houses it’s been laying out for a few days and still doesn’t lay completely flat and it’s barely big enough for the matchbox cars. We decided to keep it just because it does have a landing strip for his toy planes and we couldn’t find another one that did, but if it wasn’t for that we would have returned it as there are better play rugs for toy cars out there for much cheaper. ... show more

My son loves this rug BUT I noticed his room started smelling terrible…I realized it must be the rug, moved it and his room is fine now but the area in which I put the rug now smells… I contacted the company who got back to me after a couple days and confirmed it is compliant with non toxic chemical standards for US including prop 65. I am going to put it outside in the sun for a couple days and see if it airs out. ... show more

I purchased this rug to go with the theme in my son’s room and he loves it. It hasn’t endured any stains yet but he loves to play on it. Warning: I’ve stepped on quite a few vehicles forgetting that it’s not a regular rug 🙈
