For reference the room shown has windows facing west, north, and east so it gets tons of light all day so the color is exactly as depicted for the Emerald Green duvet cover. At night it obviously looks darker and more olive green with my warm white lighting and white walls. The duvet itself is a good weight and love the fact that the velvet material is double-sided rather than a different fabric facing underneath. The material is soft and breathable which is a plus for a hot sleeper like myself. Washed super easily without any dye runoff with warm water and the high dry setting for cotton. The loops for tying were great and keep it secure. Didn’t have any issues with the zipper as others noted. If you want the interior super fluffy like the product photos I suggest getting a baffle box style duvet insert and putting it into the dryer for at least 20 minutes to fluff up before inserting it into this duvet. It makes a world of difference!

This is my first time ever purchasing a comforter online and I was very nervous to buy it. However, when I tell you I loveee love love my comforter set I love it! I do want to say the reviews don’t do any justice when you have an in person it is more vivid than what it looks like on a camera so if you’re worried about it, not being colorful enough, it is vivid. Also the quality it’s really good texture is soft on my skin I haven’t had any issues so far. I will say I have a queen size bed I wanted the king size comforter set so that the comforter would look full on my bed. And also, it is a little weighted, which is perfect with me. If you were wondering the comforter is not flat unless you don’t get it in insert and make sure you get a good insert. I got my insert from Amazon as well.

It is thinner than I expected, but I like that because it won't get too hot. The color is bluer than advertised, it's a teal blue, which is exactly what I was hoping for. The color looks very different in my photos from night to day, my catisin the day picture. It is velvet made of microfiber, the definition of velvet is basically a short pile on one side and smooth on the other, but the pile is shorter than real silk, cotton, or nylon velvet. It's not as luxurious looking as real velvet or even velour. It washes well in a regular bedding cycle for the washer and dryer. The king size comforter fits perfectly, but the middle ties don't hold very well, you might need to get duvet clips to keep it in place.

Excellent duvet covers, I have bought 2 of these over the past couple of years . They so very soft and reversible . I bought the gold and the green one both are the color describe in the title. They are long lasting and I haven’t had trouble with the zippers as I have with some covers. They fit perfectly and overly big like I have trouble with other covers. I highly recommend!!!

EDITED - took off stars. We ordered a second one in a different color, like a rust color. It came wadded up in a plastic bag so I already knew it had been returned by someone else. Upon opening it up, we noticed a tear near the zipper, which I’m assuming is why it was returned. I think it’s pretty poor quality control on the seller’s part to re-sell a damaged product, but I digress. My partner liked the first green one we bought so much and this rust color he didn’t want me to go through the hassle of returning it but I would have if I had my way lol. Initial review for 1st duvet: LOVE this. We’ve had it about 2 weeks and I just washed it for the first time before leaving a review - I thought it might lose some of its texture after washing but it’s still amazingly soft! I’m also a hot sleeper and was worried it would burn me up but it’s surprisingly lightweight. Only had a few weeks but it kept its quality after the first wash. Fits a king size duvet as described. Does not slide around. We’ve already ordered a second to alternate them out. Green matches the photos.

The same color as pictured. I know this is a big issue for me sometimes with Amazon, products are not the same color as advertised. Softness 4/5, color 5/5. I LOVE DUVET! I like the idea I can wash this verus sometimes with comforters they are toooooo big for the wash and the material is ehh. ofc! duvets are a piece of work when it comes to the inset (got insert from Target; WORTH IT!) but we lovers of duvets expect this. I sleep every day with a Lakso Fan blasted at lvl 2. With this duvet, I feel warm and cozy. Maybe a bit hot for the peppers; my dog wants to sleep on top of it rather than in it lol. Oh, the only con I would really say is the strings to tie the insert honestly are too thin. They started to string apart. I made it work and did some amateur sowing of my own, and its works Go buy and try it out, If it's not to your liking take advantage of the return process I mean why not!
