Ordered it for my sister who has sliding windows. Was very easy to install though a piece of isolation foam would be highly appreciated (as it is included with any other AC). AC opens up more and more depending on the level of fan you choose and what I really liked when I chose this model that it does not blow on you but rather more towards the ceiling direction. My sister used it for 3 hottest days in a row and when checked the water there was none and actually until now (it's been over a week). It brings really cold air. Was delivered next day with Prime which was really important ahead of 3 days with 100 degrees in NYC. The noise level is fine.

We are using this AC in a 600 sq ft living area and are quite happy with it. The noise level is less than the 8,000 BTU unit it replaced, and it effectively cools the area. The vent hose securely attaches to the body and the window panel. Be aware that the window panel only extends to about 4 feet tall, so if you have a large window there may be a gap. I don't use the remote or WiFi features. One feature I rather like is the thermostat - when it reaches the correct temperature, it completely shuts down whereas my previous AC would only turn off the compressor and keep running the fan when it reached temp. It's nice that you can count on it to power off when it has done its job.

The Ivation 12000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner works well to cool a small room when you need a little extra help, even in this miserable Arizona heat. Easy to set up, but beware that the window sealing plate assembly will most likely need to be trimmed down to fit standard window openings.

I contacted the manufacturer and they said it cannot be repaired. And it's really noisy with a buzz in addition to normal operation. Only two years old. Very expensive to only get two summers out of it. Do not recommend.

Bought this in 2021, used it for 2 summers and it worked pretty decently. App control is nice, the design is sleek and it cooled quite well. Fast forward to now, I set it up this summer for my bedroom and it just does not cool anymore. Given I only use this in summer at night, it should be completely fine. Additionally, the thermostat is almost always wrong on what the room temp is. Great product if you only plan to use it for a few years, bad product if you want something for hundreds that works for many years.

Best window A/C. Rent House A/C wasn’t cooling enough- this window kept the den at 72 (with the house A/C on as well). Bedrooms were at 82. (We are in Texas with heat index 100-110). Finally got a 4 ton A/C that has the house at 72. Still use the window A/c- not that it’s needed but to make living area very cold. 🤗
