I cannot say enough good things about these short boots. They are immaculately manufactured and fit me perfectly according to size. They are soooooo comfortable right out of the box that I put them on for our nightly one mile walk and I was astonished that they were the most comfortable walking shoe or boot I now own. No break in!!! They also LOOK great. I appreciate the generous heel which greatly adds to the look. By generous I mean the AREA size. They are far from skimpy and higher than my regular Chelsea boots. These have replaced my daily wear boots, which are fantastic in their own right and have been reviewed herein. For $50 how can you beat these? You can't. Very well made in every way. Just order your true size.

I am beyond blown away by these boots. I am a high school teacher and cross country coach. I wear the boots everyday, and some days I wear them for 16hrs straight. I didn’t want to break the bank, so I gave them a shot. Here is my honest opinion: Pros: -Durable -They don’t smell bad like most cheaper boots. -My feet don’t smell, even when I sweat! - They shed water. -They look great. -I get compliments on them all the time. -I saved money, but still got a great value. -True to size fit out of the box. -They don’t scuff or show wear even when you are tough on them. -You can run in them if you get the urge! Cons: -Buy some softer insoles if you wear them day in and day out. -They are a little glossy out of the box, but not so bad that it looks cheap, but it isn’t a natural tanned leather look. If that what you are looking for these are not that. -You will need to wear thicker socks because the upper rim of the boot is a little loose in normal long length boot socks.

Western looking dress shoe, my husband loves them!

Bought these for my wedding for my now husband. We wanted him to wear slacks but to look like he had cowboy boots on, and these did the job! The leather is pretty shiny and lightweight, 4 stars because it doesn't seem as durable as traditional boots, more of a dress shoe than a boot. He was comfortable wearing them all day and uses them for his nicer, classier outfits often. We're overall really happy with these! The color and product came exactly as we expected.

Other reviews are correct saying that they run a little larger. After I added some work boot type insoles, with arch support, they fit like a glove. Very comfortable!!

These boots were beautiful. The details on the boots were absolutely great. The quality seemed super good as well. However, no fault of the boots themselves my husband was not able to get them on. He suffers from a lot of health issues and his feet swell really bad. These boots have no zippers and he wasn't able to get his foot down in them. So, rating the order in general it was great. The box was in bad shape upon delivery but the boots themselves were not damaged. Arrival time was acceptable and he loved them. Disappointed he couldn't wear them.

Excellent boots but they do probably need an insole but that’s not saying that these boots aren’t awesome. Absolutely love these and can’t wait to get more. I’ve had mine for a year now and wear them regularly with no issues.

I've had them about a year now and I've enjoyed them the whole time. Great value for the comfort and durability. They keep my feet dry if it's raining or muddy, there's enough tread to be fairly comfortable on ice or snow, and they clean up easy. I got the lighter brown color, and they've darkened a bit with time and wear. True to size. Fairly comfortable out of the box with a brief break-in period.
