I researched tons of iSUPs and after weighing the various options, this was by far the best balance between trying to keep the cost low and still having as many quality features as possible. I've had it for a couple of months now and taken it out on multiple occasions to different bodies of water in the Midwest (small and large lakes, wetlands, and creeks) in varying weather/wind conditions and so far, I have no regrets. As a petite lady in my mid-40s who typically goes out solo, it was really important to me to find an iSUP that I could transport, inflate/deflate, pack, and carry completely on my own, and this board has enabled me to SUP, kayak, and fish solo, with my dog, and even haul around a 14yo boy who outweighs me with zero trouble. PROS: fits easily inside carry backpack with extra storage inside bag AND in attached separate zippered front pocket; easy to inflate/deflate; light enough to easily carry, both packed away and inflated; perfect length/width for maneuverability AND stability on the water; all of the included accessories make for simple, easy switching between SUP/kayaking without having to get out of the water; great tracking with the incl 3 removable fins; tons of storage on front and back bungee sections; paddle-keepers are a lifesaver; very hard and sturdy once inflated; easy to fish off of it with 2 fishing pole base mounts (only comes with 1 rod holder though); detachable padded shoulder strap makes for easy carrying from car to dock/ramp/shore; comes with basic repair kit to take on the water with you for emergency repairs; incl dry bag and waterproof phone case on lanyard w/safety whistle were nice touches; LOVE the incl kayak seat and footrest!! So comfortable for longer paddles - I wavered on whether I really needed the inflatable seat, back and footrest, and I'm so glad I paid a little more for this one bc it was def worth it. Finally, although appearance wasn't the most important thing, I really enjoy the bright colors and overall fun look, and given my tendency to paddle in wetlands areas far off the beaten path, the bright oranges, yellows, and blues make it very easy for others to see me on the water which can be an important safety feature. This iSUP/kayak is very easy for even a total beginner to balance and stand on, and it moves through the water effortlessly. CONS: the convertible 4-piece paddle has two problems that mean I will probably buy a more expensive paddle at some point in the future - first, it is very heavy and if you let go of it for even a second, it will sink, and second, despite being length-adjustable in both configurations, it is tricky to get it to stay locked in place while in SUP-mode and kept slipping down, even after I "locked" it into place correctly, which was irritating; it also didn't include any kind of cup-holder or upright phone base/holder with all of the great accessories and although I can buy those, even on my first trip, it became a drag to have to totally stop moving forward, get up, move to front of board (can't reach storage area from the seat otherwise), and unsecure my water bottle from the front bungees, and then do all of that in reverse to resecure it every single time I wanted a sip of water on a hot summer day; and, as others have mentioned, you'll likely want to buy an electric pump for convenience, although I've pumped it up using the incl one with just elbow grease with no trouble, just tiring and slow. Given the price, I didn't expect the incl convertible paddle to be top of the line, and I knew I'd probably want to purchase an electric pump down the road, so neither of those were deal-breakers for me, and none of the cons have interfered much in my ability to thoroughly enjoy my itaostar iSUP/kayak so far. I have no regrets whatsoever and if you're on the fence, just do it! Overall, I couldn't find a better iSUP/kayak with more accessories anywhere, after several months spent shopping around and trying others' out. So happy with my purchase!!

Love this inflatable SUP! I purchased this for myself along with a couple of other brands for my family this past summer, and it was well worth it. Due to a knee injury, I had to use it in kayak mode for most of the season, but it worked out my arms/upper body quite well. As a taller (and a little wider) person, I appreciated the width and overall size of the board. While the included hand pump works great (and is a workout in itself), and I always carry it with me just in case, I did purchase a separate car-charging pump. The paddle is fine, and the double-paddle option for kayak mode is incredibly helpful. I also like the velcro on the sides for holding the paddle. Another feature I was specifically looking for (and can typically only get with a longer board like this) are dual cargo areas with the stretchy criss-cross bands at both the nose and tail of the board. The included bag makes it easily portable to get up and down my shop stairs and into my vehicle. I love all the accoutrements including the cup holder, dry bag, and the spot at the front of the board where I could easily attach my GoPro (and caught some very cool shots out on the rivers and lakes in our area). I often received compliments on this SUP when I would launch, and everyone wanted to know where I got it. I recommend this one, and I can’t wait for next summer.

I had a great first experience with this paddleboard—day one was a success. Honestly, it’s one of the best ways to relax during the week and just unwind on the water. The board comes loaded with accessories that really make the experience smooth and enjoyable. Inflating it does take a bit of effort, but the pump works well—about 10 solid minutes of pumping and it’s ready to go. I tried it with the included seat and footrest, which made paddling much easier for a beginner like me. Both were simple to inflate and set up. The board also offers plenty of storage space, and I can already see myself bringing my dog along since there’s enough room to stay comfortable. Another great feature is the paddle—it easily converts between a standard paddleboard paddle and a kayak-style paddle, which adds a lot of versatility. Overall, a great setup with tons of options. I’m really looking forward to getting out on the water more often.

The board itself is quite good and sturdy, the big size makes it very stable and can easily take me and my kids. The accessories though are a bit cheap and not the best quality, the fins, the paddle, the cup holder, etc.. The fins remarkably bend if you put the board on it as it’s made of very poor plastic material, and actually one of the smaller fins compartments got dent when i put it upwards on the sand (not even a hard floor). If you’re looking to get a nice affordable board but use accessories from another brand, go for this!

I had previously bought a different SUP but returned it when I saw this one. It is absolutely stuffed with accessories, cool attachments, and so many different thoughtful touches they added throughout. For example, the kayak seat alone has 3 separate capabilities than SUP kayak seats from other brands I saw: it has a cup holder in the front, the seat is inflatable for more comfort, and the back has a zippered pocket to store stuff! This comes in so handy! Itaos attention to detail is incredible. I even love the flag on the front which seems like overkill at first but when you're out on a lake and big boats are flying by on your left and right, you definitely want to increase your visibility and having that flag will help at least a bit. It is a little more expensive than the most popular SUPs on amazon but it's totally worth it. Even the bag that you carry it with has thoughtful features added to it. It has a separate front zippered pocket that I haven't even added anything to yet because everything else fits in the main pocket, but it's nice to have the option. It's also big and stable enough to carry a small family (parents and child). Overall I'm super happy with this SUP so far. The only thing I don't know about yet is durability over time. That will just have to wait and see, but it anything does break down I'll come back and update this review. So if you don't see any updates then this SUP is still working great!

Everything arrived swiftly and neatly packed all the pieces and parts were there easy instructions for putting it together. Be aware there are different seat options that it comes with, but they work absolutely perfect. This kayak /paddleboard is everything I expected and more.. it came with so many great little extras. my little French bulldog loves it too. It’s extra wide and very stable. Also very lightweight. I live on a lake so it’s easy to walk it right down to the water. The foam roller for your foot rest when you are kayaking is a little too far away for me. I am five 5 1/2 inches but no worries I improvised and added a thicker piece of foam around it to make it larger and bring it a little closer and it works perfectly. I am replacing a much more expensive paddleboard with this one for half the price. My old Paddle board was twice the price and lasted two years until the kayak seat straps ripped out when a friend was using it. I would not lean back with all your weight when resting on the board. Especially if you are a larger person. This board should last a long time if you take care of it!

My husband and I have these same brand paddle boards / kayaks, they work great, you can pack in car without taking up too much space and they set up quickly, I have used for 3 seasons and I just bought a second one the beginning of last season, they are extremely durable. The only thing is you will want to get a lighter paddle for kayaking or using the paddleboard the one that comes with all blow ups are made of heavier material, I prefer lightweight and fiberglass.

Absolutely outstanding! The quality and abilities of this finely developed and engineered paddleboard. I have been an avid paddleboarder for five years. Everything that I have ever hoped and wished for has been added to this paddleboard. Fishing pole holders are robust and sturdy, featuring an inflatable seat that can be folded to create a higher seat, as well as numerous storage and clip options. I take a small anchor out to keep me from drifting. Purchased a better carbon fiber kayak paddle. The price is hard to understand, being so affordable with everything you get. I would recommend an electric pump also. My photos show some of the add-ons I purchased. This board is a dream come true.
