I knew little about olive oils and decided to do a deep dive into exactly what to look for. N°1 Drinking Extra Virgin Olive Oil came up on more than one list as a much buy. I looked it up on Amazon and was a little shocked by the price. I'd never paid more than $10 for a bottle before, but because it came so highly recommended, I bit the bullet and bought a bottle. If it helps, we're now on our third bottle, and it's now our go-to olive oil. It's light, it's fruity, and it's one of only a few olive oils I can stand to drink from a teaspoon. It's an amazing olive oil, and if you can stomach the price (I don't blame you if you can't) it's absolutely worth spending the money on. ... show more

What stood out to me is the high polyphenol content and that it’s cold-pressed which are both important factors when you’re looking for quality and potential health benefits. Excellent quality & very smooth no bitter taste. I take it daily for health benefits. It came in a nice box securely wrapped by the maker. Amazon just used a plastic bag for the olive oil. They should have put the olive oil in a box even though the olive oil was nicely boxed by the makers. Some amazon drivers just dump your delivery like it’s garbage so this would have added safety precautions. ... show more

Received a fresh harvest of late 2025, that was very well packaged in a cardboard box with foam padding at the top and bottom. Literature inside the box Very smooth with an outstanding flavor, fresh aroma with a slight peppery taste / feel. Literature inside explaining the making of the Olive Oil, opening and use along with the chemical analysis. Higher in price then most but as the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for."
