I recently purchased this desk, and overall, I’m very happy with it! It’s sturdy, well-made, and can hold up to 300 pounds, which is great for my setup. The materials feel solid, and once assembled, it looks fantastic. That being said, the assembly process is a bit tedious. While it can be put together by one person, there are a lot of pieces, and it takes some patience. If you have an extra set of hands, it would definitely make the process easier. Once assembled, though, the desk is well worth the effort. It provides plenty of space, feels stable, and has a sleek design, with very few blemishes. Be honest, I didn't expect the desk will look like as picture but after I assembled the desk together, I was surprised, yes, it looks like as picture. Although, the drawers have a little bit gaps but I won't picky about it at all. The desk is heavy, this is what I want, don't wanna my desk shaking when I am typing. Overall a solid desk and the drawers slide smoothly and fit well. I think others may not have taken the time to precisely set the screws in the drawer rails. It does take time to assemble but I found the instructions easy to follow. All items are numbered and the directions have clear pictures. It took me about 3.5 hours to install even with with power tools (cordless drill with Phillips and hex bit). Small point, and probably my fault, but I took off one star because I must have messed up placing the top on because there’s a slight gap in the back and its not visible but I feel the void if I press down on the table just right. The table has many many dowels and reduction screws that need to be installed properly then lined up perfectly. You will need 2 people to do this. I tried doing it myself and didn’t get it right I guess. ... show more

I absolutely LOVE this desk! It's very sturdy and goes so well with the rest of my decor and thankfully, no damaged or missing parts. Package is pretty big and heavy (had to use a dolly to bring it inside). Assembled it all on my own, which I started it on one day and finished it on the next. Drawers slide open and close very smoothly. Helpful Tips: Layout everything on the floor to ensure ALL parts / hardware have been rec'd BEFORE assembling...u will need a Phillips screwdriver as well...make sure to face each part the same way as shown on manual to avoid errors...drawer rails are tricky, so TAKE YOUR TIME when you get to that step! While I attached them correctly, that step took me the longest. Overall, I am so pleased with the look and durability of this desk and feel that it is reasonably priced. Our living room is done in a black and white wood motif, and this desk matches perfectly. It's solidly built and fits together without any problems. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours putting it together; there are a lot of pieces. All the components survived shipping with zero damage. Whew! The 38 assembly steps fill a small book, and you will have to study the pictures carefully. Each part is numbered with removable labels and the instructions identify the parts used in each step. There are a few tools required to put it together, but assembly should be within the reach of most people. Plan on having help as it's heavy. The end result is a solid, attractive desk with smoothly-sliding drawers. I thought it was a bit expensive, but I think the quality justifies the price. ... show more
