This desk was not difficult, just time consuming, to assemble. It's built like a tank, and the instructions were straightforward enough for most people to follow. Okay, maybe not that easy; I speak IKEA and I can follow draftsmen's blueprints, so maybe I'm not a good judge of "easy to assemble". But seriously, I was able to assemble it from start to finish in about an hour, doing so alone. The only annoying part was the placement of the cable guides -- the cable from the secondary, more distant leg/motor was shorter than I'd liked, but still (barely) reached the control box on the underside of the table. Having said all this, the desk is huge -- 61" wide, about 28" deep at its shallowest, and the left-side "L" arm is 47" deep. I've got an Epson MFP on the L-arm, a 44" Sceptre 2FD monitor (3840x1080, $499 at Amazon, trust me, if you're a WFH employee, you need this monitor) on a Wali heavy-duty gas-strut monitor arm clamped at the back of the desk (uses about eight square inches of desk space, thank you very much) and both my personal and work laptops along with separate keyboards and mice for each on this desk, and still have space for other necessities. -This desk has exceeded my expectations. I was unsure if it would fit 3/24inch monitors but, it does. The Height which this stands is perfect for me I am 6'4 and when this is extended to the tallest point which is 48inches stops right at my belly button and is perfect for my arms to rest on. -Installation was not difficult I'd say 1-10 maybe a 5. U do want a 2nd pair of hands to help lift it up and turn over just to keep anything from putting pressure on any weak points where it could pull a screw out or possibly snap or crack the desktop. Instructions were not hard to follow. I put most of this together during my lunch break so over all about an hour and a half by myself. -This came well packed the box has minor damage probably from delivery handlers since its fairly heavy. but the desks/parts were still in good condition. I had to take all parts out to be able to get up to my 2nd flr office. piece by piece. No sense in hurting yourself. think smart. -Overall this is a good sturdy desk and looks very nice even comes with a nice giant mouse pad and this desk has the left side L-shape which gives me some extra arm room and I have a enough room for my laptop. -This is used for work space but is definitely a gaming worthy desk my two boys want the same desk. A side note the carbon fiber material on the desk a nice finishing touch looks very good. ... show more

LIKE: the hardware that came with it works and fits like a charm. It is quiet an has Memory settings. DISLIKE: Still trying to figure out how to SAVE preferred Heights in the Memory, did give up after a few tries. One can set the display to stay one or go off after a certain Time, I was wondering if the other button's could/should not also had an illuminated option? Oh yes, on the Motors, one or both since they are the same, should have a longer cord to go to the control unit. Cable management would also have been nice instead of the cheap provided cable-ties kind of (Five) that were provided with the double sided Tape. One side was missing some pre-drilled holes, but the self - tapping screws with the provided screw driver were easily to mount, still. The assembly was easy, took some time and as one knows, or should, lay out everything on a flat surface and hand tighten so you can move around the Metal Frame parts to match the pre-drilled holes etc. The instructions are pretty decent, if not simple. I forgot what it was but one part they could have shown better/more details, IMHO (In My Humble Opinion). I did get Monitor mount for 3 Screens (27-Inch) and that made me sit too close to the screens, so I saw this brand also has an addition for a under the desk Keyboard/mouse option, which I purchased and am now at a decent distance from the screens. I love the desk, wish they had a White or light color option, the black color isn't bad and the FAKE Carbon Fiber look is 'cute, still in the back of my mind its compressed particle wood, which I feel for this cost should / could have been a 100% wooden desk IMHO. All in all the QUALITY is decent, I have seen reviews with complaints I have NOT run into at all. The Frame is Heavy and good quality too. As such can recommend. Just beware that this comes all in one HEAVY Package, needs TWO or more to Lift. All was packed properly, the corners did have reinforced carbon corner pieces so I was bale to ;WALK' the large box from our club house to my apartment located on the third floor. I had hoped the carrier would have delivered it but as it is only the Driver, no co-driver, I understand that they dropped it off in the Mail room, still not according my delivery instructions. My company allows me to work from home a few days a week, so I wanted a desk that would replicate the sit/stand desk I have at my office. This desk actually is less expensive than the one my office bought and has more features. However, it's not quite as big. This desk is ideal for a corner location. The fact that it comes in either a left or right orientation is awesome. The desk is sturdy and has enough room for the dual 27" monitors that I have on it. The dimensions stated on the webpage are true to size. I like the fact that this desk has memory positions on it. I have one set for the lowest setting; for when I want to sit down, and one set at a comfortable height when I want to stand. Pusing either one of these two buttons returns the desk exactly where I want it. In all honesty, assembly was a little bit tricky, but I just followed the instructions closely and double checked when I wasn't sure. A tip... don't tighten all bolts snuggly until you're sure you've got everything just right. I'm also one of those Type A people who check all the parts and pieces against the item list before I begin... just to make sure there's no surprises durring assembly.
