  • This kids professional cue is the Perfect Blind Spot Cue!
Best cue I've seen yet for a 48" cue. I have a small blind spot on 1 wall "Cue to long" and had a couple shorty blind spot cues and they were horrible & unbalanced. So I thought what about a child's professional cue? and sure enough I found this cue through Izzy and it works so well, I already installed the same tip on it as my playing cue so it feels the same as my playing cue. Now its just fantastic! And for someone actually buying it for there child? It's balanced very well and has a beautiful shaft, the tip is 12mm which is perfect for a child to shoot with for begining in the sport. in fact I wished my dad got me a cue like this when I was a child, and we owned a pool hall lol, I'd have given anything for this cue when I was a kid! It's a beautiful cue with old style points and a very glossy finish, for this price I'd buy this for any kid and it's just the best blind spot cue I've ever used 50 years in the sport. I may buy another one or two for guests when they bring their kids over my house. ... show more

  • Great value for a short cue
This cue is a excellent value at the $25 I paid for it on sale. I bought the brown pattern and it looks very nice and the build quality is at least as nice as name brand entry level cues. Its straight and plays naturally because its properly weighted unlike a lot of shorter cues. The weight is also removable if you'd like to change it. The tip is quite hard but shapes ok and holds chalk decently. only odd thing is mine makes a "TINK" sound while shooting. I'm not sure if that's normal or not for this cue but you get used to it. ... show more

  • Terrific shorty cue!
The media could not be loaded. This 42” 2-piece cue is great. At 17oz it feels heavy which I like. But it’s also very well balanced. It definitely feels and plays like a like a full sized cue. You’ll see in the attached video that it rolls perfectly straight. The tip is fairly hard but takes to a shaping tool well, and takes chalk well after shaping to your liking. The designs available are very nice, classic pool cue styles. I had a hard time choosing but went with brown/black and I’m very happy with my choice. I had previously ordered a cheaper 42” cue but it was too light even after adding weight. It played OK but did not feel good. This cue is well worth the extra $10-$15. I highly recommend this. ... show more

  • Short pool cue stick has the needed weight to work well
I purchased this for my wife who is under 5' tall and she really likes this one. I had purchased a different one previously, but it was way too light and felt like it was made of balsa wood. This one has the weight and stiffness needed -- I wish they made a short one of fiberglass, but this is the next best thing. ... show more

  • Best break cue I have seen, but I've only been playing for about 65 years.
Color: Black Size: 58 inch
Several reviewers mention a leather tip; perhaps the mfg changed the product recently. Mine arrived, May 2019, as pictured on Amazon, with a long, hard, phenolic resin tip. It is a great break cue. The tip is sufficiently textured to take a light coat of chalk, but likely best to brush tip thoroughly rather than simply "drilling" into the chalk and hoping for a uniform coat. https://amazon.com/gp/product/B06VXTFY4D/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Butt is black, as pictured, with a steel, 5/16x18 male thread. Shaft has 5/16x18 female threaded brass insert, is natural wood, as pictured, 21mm to 13mm uniform taper, straight-grained and quite stiff, essentially inflexible. Total Weight 23.25 oz., clearly within advertised specification. Incidentally, I have tested break cues up to 32 oz, and find that the extra weight is offset by loss in acceleration; for most players, the best break cue would likely be 15oz to 24 oz., depending on agility. I have also noticed that with age, I need a heavier break cue. Since the energy imparted to the cue ball is proportional to the square of the velocity, many younger players might benefit from a lighter break cue, allowing them to accelerate to a higher velocity when striking the cue ball. Incidentally, if you have never tried breaking with a light weight cue, find a 15oz house cue with a hard tip, chalk it a bit, and try it; you might be pleasantly surprised. ... show more

  • OK for the money
Straight but little off balance, not bad for the price.
