Only Headboard and two Legs so easy to put together. Hardware is quality so very strong. Hardware is hidden in the back of the headboard so unzipper or pull velcro depending on size you buy. You will need to purchase bolts to attach to frame and some frames do not align perfectly. If alignment is not perfect, Attach one leg with bolts and the other with Tie-Wraps...

nice headboard BUT this item should not be allowed to be sold on Amazon, how do you expect me to attach the headboard legs to the frame? There are no nuts and bolts which have to be 2 1/2" long to fit. The headboard will attach to the legs with the supplied bolts but there is no way to attach the legs to the bed frame!
