This bookshelf is perfect for what I was looking for, it’s not to bulky but it’s durable enough to hold all of my reading materials and home decor. You can’t tell by looking at it that it was so affordable hahaha. Easy assemble, took me about an hour and an half and I’m 5 months prego and never put things like this together. For the second to last step on the instructions it took me a second to figure out, then I realized the picture in the manual was actually the BACK of the book shelves 😂. The little plastic pieces act as shelf support and you screw them directly into the back on each side of the shelf. There’s a picture on the Amazon add/listing when you scroll down and once I saw that it all made sense. No missing parts, everything was packaged nicely and easy to figure out. All and all this is a perfect bookshelf, the anchors work great making it extra safe from tipping. I have a lot of natural wood in my house and the dark brown color of the shelves goes great with the rest of the house. 5/5 stars 🙌🏻

I wanted a taller bookshelf to store my books in as I do a LOT of reading and this one looked like it would work. The price is lower than what I've seen on others and I'm not rich, so I took a shot at it hoping that it would be serviceable. I am very pleasantly surprised. First off, it arrived two days earlier than expected and was packed very well with the shelf pieces very well protected. The instructions are mostly diagrams with a small amount of wording, but were easy to follow - didn't run into anything that I didn't understand. By myself it took me about two hours to assemble - others may be a bit faster but I wasn't in a hurry and I've messed up things before and had to redo them. The pieces and hardware fit together well - no issues there. It is a taller shelf so I would definitely recommend using the tipover restraint piece included. The construction seems sturdy and I like the fact that the back pieces fit into grooves (not nailed on as you find in other lower cost shelves) and there are also bracers included to install behind the back pieces - first time I have seen that in shelves in this price range. I bought the black shelves and I love the look. These shelves are perfect for storing my books and I can see where they would look great pretty much anywhere. I actually liked it so much that I bought a second one that was also delivered early and had no issues with that one either. All in all, I would say this is a very good item and even moreso considering the price. Very satisfied with this product.

I have had one for over a year and bought two other later. Mine has been holding my Stephen King collection for over a year now and has not bowed at all. The shelves are still just as straight as when I bought it. It is very easy to put together and is very light. I was easily able to put it together myself. It is great and looks lovely where I have it (I have them in two different spots). The different styles are very nice and works in different rooms. They are great.

Assembly was a breeze thanks to the great instructions and accurate manufacturing. All the holes actually line up! No wonder this is made in Vietnam, it's leagues above the crap coming out of China nowadays. Only thing I'll gripe about is... hexbit screws and the hex key. WHY, WHY IS THAT THE STANDARD NOW? I hate hex keys with a passion, and I've got dozens of them now. Please, go back to either flathead or philips screws. They're so much easier to tighten down.

This was my first time building anything, ever, and it was super easy. It comes with a screw driver to put all the parts it comes with together so I didn’t have to buy one of my own. As of now, the quality of the shelf is nice. It’s a bit wobbly even after tightening the screws, but maybe that’s a me issue.

I got the bookcase for my campus dorm it’s very firm, and has a lot of room to hold heavy books. I own over 55 books and it fits all of them and there’s plenty more room to fit TWICE that amount. It came in great condition, the wood is strong and the color is stunning, the alignment is great, there’s no gaps, no wholes it’s literally perfect. I love it! The only thing is the instructions are not the clearest and I thought a piece was missing but as you can see I was wrong. My roommate helped me put it together and it worked out great!
