I have been using this water bottle for quitre some time now and I love it. It comes with different lids depending on if you like using the straw tops or not, as well as a replacement straw in case you lose one. The only drawback I will say is the length that it stays cold. If you pack it up completely with ice and fill it will stay cold for about 24 hours. However if you fill partially with ice and then top off to start your day, it won't last till the end of the day. Really not even enough of a down side to take off a star, highly recccomend this water bottle if you are in the market for a new one! ... show more

Got this for my youngest to put in his school backpack. The mouth is wide enough to get ice cubes in there, and it’s narrow enough to fit in the side pockets of the backpack (as well as in the car cup holder). The biggest surprise was that he keeps forgetting to drop it off at the sink at the end of the day to be washed out, and more than once - the following morning when I need to refill it - there’s STILL large chunks of ice cubes left in it. (I should note he refills this a couple times throughout the school day). Haven’t tried it for anything hot yet - the season for that is upon us now, so we’ll see - but I’ve been thoroughly impressed that it keeps ice cubes chilled and doing their ice cube-y thing for 24 hours. ... show more

22 oz is the perfect size for me. I have the 40 oz too, but this one’s my favorite. I drink fairly quickly, so it stays as cold as I make it. I’m not sure if that’s the case for everyone, but it is for me. Sometimes, I’ll make a full one with ice before I go to bed and if I put a ton of ice, it’s still there by morning! If I don’t put much ice it stays cool, but usually melts. Not a problem for me and doesn’t change my opinion of it. Goes everywhere with me, I love it. Comes with three different lids for drinking - excellent. The only drawback I found for my personal taste is that the straw-like lid does not reach the end of the bottle, and a little more annoying than that, since it is a straw, in order to finish the maximum amount of water possible, you have to tilt your head down. I used the other lid (which I assume is for hot drinks) and every time I drink, a small amount of water remains around the lid. But the disadvantages are almost meaningless compared to the quality of the product ... show more

    • Favorite bottles ever.

I have been a loyal Iron Flask customer for a long time now. My first bottle was so durable and made it through years of being my near constant companion. I started to order more bottles and tumblers recently (all Iron Flask of course) and have purchased them as gifts for others too. As per usual, when I received this bottle, it was packaged really nicely and compact. They include a cute little sticker in the bottle that feels like getting a little surprise. The quality of these bottles have gotten even better over the years and I love the variety of sizes they offer. They are easy to clean. I think the best part though is they really keep liquids cold for a long period of time. I can leave these in direct sunlight in my car and when I come back, the water has barely changed temperature.     • It’s “chill” and sturdy.

My son decided to pick up weight lifting class for his Sophomore year in High School, so of course he’s going to need a bottle to carry around so he can hydrate. And, something that can keep his water chilled throughout the day. Came across this bottle as listed. He drinks a lot of liquids, so I thought 32oz would be perfect. ONE downside to this bottle is that it’s WIDE, it will most likely not fit in your cup holder and it certainly didn’t fit in the little slot on his backpack. Bummer! It has a little handle-like grip on the cap, so I think it was fine for him. You’ll just have to hire someone to hold the bottle for you in your vehicle. ;) Anyway. The water does stay cold for more than half the day and it doesn’t have that metallic taste, which *I* think is very important. It’s simple to use, comes with two extra lids of different kinds to drink out of your bottle, and aside from the ginormous size I ordered — it’s simple & durable. ... show more
