The belt is wonderful. Purchased back in October 2022, and today (June 22, 2023) the buckle has broken. The part of the buckle that holds the lever to the stationary pin broke one if its arms, and fell off the pin. Sturdy product easy to use and adjust to fit snug the lever clip is great for releasing the belt after a lift don't have to worry about taking it off and on between lifts just open the lever and it stays on when you are ready to lift close the lever and your good to go safely

UPDATE: Changing review from 2 stars to 4. I was able to get in touch with customer service and they sent me a replacement belt even though I was out of the return window. This powerlifting lever belt has a great thickness, it provides excellent support for heavy weightlifting exercises like deadlifts and squats. However, the latch is made weak and broke off easily, which is disappointing. Overall, the belt is decent but could be improved with a stronger latch. ... show more

I have owned the Iron Bull 13mm lever belt for about 2 years and really like it. However, it is extremely rigid and I was looking for something more flexible for every day lifting, so I ordered the 10mm version. Having worn a 10mm before, I noticed the Iron Bull 10mm was much more rigid. Not sure it will break in as the 13mm never has. Also, I see a lot of reviews in regard to the lever breaking. That happened to me as well and Iron Bull sent out a replacement quickly. My advice for preventing the lever from breaking is to not toss your belt onto the ground. Seems like a sturdy belt but I was dead lifting probably 80% of my previous max for reps and on the 4th rep the belt blew off! Thankfully I was all the way up and it didn't happen while I was halfway through the rep. What I think happened is when I was going down and re-bracing my core tension was coming on and off the belt clasp causing the teeth to come unseated from their spot and dig in halfway through the thickness of the belt resulting in it tearing through the leather and failing I definitely had the belt tight enough, I think that the sudden drop and re-bracing just messed with the clasp ... show more

Picked this up as it was half the price of any other well-constructed lifting belts. I'm a competitive powerlifter so I really push all my gear to the max. After a few months (after the amazon return policy ended of course), one of the pins inside of the latch mechanism fell out. I sent a message to their customer service explaining the situation. They asked for a photo and immediately sent me out a brand new latch mechanism. No problems to report since! The only caveat is that the red ink on the inside cloth came off onto my clothes for the first couple of weeks of use. Not sure if there is a way of cleaning it properly to prevent that but I only workout in crappy clothes plus it all came out in the wash anyway. I have their knee sleeves as well and I'm definitely a customer for life now! ... show more
