    • good programming, poor physical design.
My first roomba brand robovac. I thought the basic programming was an improvement over my older robovac from another company. but the design of the brushes is just dumb. Plus the way they are installed ensures that a large percent of fur and hair is trapped at the rotating ends of the brushes. They are hard to clean. I dropped from waist level while cleaning, and nothing broke. I hate that I have no remote to program where it goes. I have to stop my work, walk over, and restart because if it sees a spot (real or imaginary), it goes into an increasing spiral, then stops. Always. So you cannot just set it and go. The app on phone is pretty useless, does NOT work as a remote. I expected more for the higher price. I do think it has better suction, but hard to clean, inadequate design of brushes and installation. Inadequate human interface, needs a remote or an app for phone control. This is obsolete now, so maybe newer ones fixed all this stuff. I don't want one that costs $1000 to empty itself, I just want one that is 100% functional. ... show more
