This is my second pair of these boots. They are true to size and comfortable. They keep water out and keep my feet warm and dry. They are perfect for construction work! As with most boots, there is a short break in period, but after that the boot conforms to your foot, fit nicely and are flexible with good traction. The laces are great, but they seem to wear out prematurely. Other than that, they are my go-to boot!! Big Rudy

I bought these for my boyfriend as a Christmas present. Upon receiving them, they we packaged well, and overall looked very nice. My boyfriend liked them and only had 1 complaint. They are too narrow for him right at the toes. He can wear them out for date nights and stuff like that, but overall all day use is not an option. They rub on his toe and leave a blister. Overall fit is good other than that. Gave 4 stars due to toe being too narrow. If you have a narrower foot these would be perfect for you.

I want to preface this review by saying that I am only in my second day wearing these boots, but so far I'm super impressed with them. The craftsmanship is really good, especially for the price point. The fit is right on. I actually went to my local Red Wing store to get fitted. I tried on several boots and they all felt good on me, but I liked the look of these the best. I would have bought them right then from Red Wing, but they were out of stock in my size for the style I wanted and were not able to get them within the time frame that I needed them, so I was glad to find them here. I would definitely recommend getting fitted by a professional before buying. I discovered that my Red Wing size was actually slightly bigger than what I had been buying. I am certain that being fitted first contributes to my enjoyment of and comfort in these boots. They fit me perfectly and right out of the box they feel like I have worn them for a while. In other words, they basically already feel like they are broken in and I only expect them to get better as I wear them. As a guy who owns many pairs of boots from several quality brands, I really have to give it up to Red Wing for the design of these Irish Setter Wingshooters. They are definitely quality boots from a quality brand. I can easily recommend them. I will update if anything changes.

I initially ordered my normal size.. they seemed narrow and I didn’t want to take a chance on not being able to stretch them for a comfortable fit. Amazon has a great return policy, I reordered wider and they are very comfortable. Good grip, without being too stiff, great quality leather is breaking in nicely… Good boots!
