I use these hunting and doing whatever when it isn't too hot for boots like this (Midwest). Very comfy, no break in required. Started to leak early on, but warrantied them within a year. Customer service from Redwing is was A1. Got a new pair of leak free boots. Look great with jeans.

These we found are about $40 cheaper on Amazon than on a Redwings website or store. Very well made out of genuine leather. These Irish Setters run true size. My husband wears 11.5 shoe size and that is what I order and they fit perfect and very comfortable. I want to preface this review by saying that I am only in my second day wearing these boots, but so far I'm super impressed with them. The craftsmanship is really good, especially for the price point. The fit is right on. I actually went to my local Red Wing store to get fitted. I tried on several boots and they all felt good on me, but I liked the look of these the best. I would have bought them right then from Red Wing, but they were out of stock in my size for the style I wanted and were not able to get them within the time frame that I needed them, so I was glad to find them here. I would definitely recommend getting fitted by a professional before buying. I discovered that my Red Wing size was actually slightly bigger than what I had been buying. I am certain that being fitted first contributes to my enjoyment of and comfort in these boots. They fit me perfectly and right out of the box they feel like I have worn them for a while. In other words, they basically already feel like they are broken in and I only expect them to get better as I wear them. As a guy who owns many pairs of boots from several quality brands, I really have to give it up to Red Wing for the design of these Irish Setter Wingshooters. I got these on sale for $150 and I must say they're amazing. The leather is a little stiff at first, but breaks in fast. To me, that's a sign of a quality boot. Comfortable and easy to wear for 10+ hours. Highly recommend

I have owned several pairs of Irish setter redwings. They have all been amazing boots. However, the most recent pair I purchased seem to have a popping noise in the sole. I will always purchase this brand and style. But the current pair I have are disappointing.

This is my 3rd pair of these boots. I work on asphalt paving job site's, half of the year. These hold up to the extreme temps of asphalt as it’s being laid (300+ degrees). My first pair lasted 7 years. Second pair lasted 8 and now I’m hoping to get the same results again. The reason I’ve had to replace these boots over the years is, the tread finally melts outward after a number of years. One pair the boot finally just fell apart (inside ripped) after years of abuse.
