I haven't tested them in any extremes yet, but wore them deer hunting in 15-30 degrees and was hugely improved from my old 400gram boots of another brand. Comfortable out of the box. A little more on the bulky side but much better for covering ground than rubber muck boots. Had to get into some wet areas and they did well. So far pretty happy! ... show more

I’ve had Irish Setter hunting boots around 25-30 years ago and they were super comfortable. I switched to Rocky due to Rocky offering a much warmer boot at the time. Well Rocky’s quality really starting slipping the last few years so I saw these Irish Setters with 1200 grams of insulation and thought I’d struck gold. While they are very warm in below freezing temperatures, the comfort just isn’t there like it was. I may just be getting old and hard to please, I don’t know. If you’re looking for a warm boot for sitting in a blind or treestand this will do the job, but if you’ll be doing much walking I’d look for something different. ... show more

Great pair of boots! Got a 12 instead of 11.5 and the fit is just right with thick socks for winter. Irish Setter never disappoints this is my 3rd pair of their products bought this year all have been above expectations
