I just used this item for the first time, after lots of reading and believing I needed a $500 machine to get this done, NOT TRUE! I'm a long term waxer, as my skin cannot handle repetitive shaving. As a dancer and a model, and mostly, as a Person , I Absolutely Must have control of my body hair. I used it for the first time on level 3, experienced the most minor irritation possible, and only on the most sensitive areas, behind my knees and between my cute little butt cheeks. I do have skin that is pretty burn resistant, you may have more sensitivity. I was very intimidated, taking it out of the box and looking in the mirror to use it for the first time. Couldn't find instructions on what power setting to use. And I could hardly see with the glasses. I had to use two 1500 lumman lamps right up next to me, in the middle of the afternoon, just to see 😂 Just start low. I started with my legs, the cooling system works very well, makes a huge difference, very soothing, and I was flashing away after a few clicks. I spent about $100 on this item, Less with coupons. Less than I would on One wax session Which also means Time out of my house and a puppy left in the car 😪 I was able to perform this treatment in the same amount of time it would take me to shave, in the comfort of my bus with my puppy at home! Make sure you look out for the eyes of your pets too! The flash is pretty serious, even with the glasses. They aren't too dark, and it's simple enough to do with light provided. I felt closing or diverting my eyes even With the glasses was a good idea. I have to be patient and wait for results, but I'm confident about the information available about these machines. But I was very excited to get online and tell all the other ladies about IPL treatments. You deserve affordable control over your look. I'm very grateful this company brought the price down, they very well don't have too. $500 for a machine that weeds out the expense of appointments for ever, is still reasonable. I'm very grateful this is available at the cost to actually make and ship the device. I also want to add, that I am a huge supporter of body hair on women! You're natural self is gorgeous 🥰 It looks beautiful wild, too. I am actually pretty impressed with this little gadget. I have fair skin and dark hair that I have to shave at least once daily or it looks like it’s been several days. After only a couple of weeks of consistent use on level 7-9 I was actually shaving less often and then shortly after that I was seeing no more hair growth in areas of focus on my legs! My mind was blown!! So nice to have this at such an affordable price for people like me who can’t afford or wouldn’t pay for “ professional hair removal “. This product is easy to use and works but you have to use it consistently. It takes time. I've used it several weeks and have seen some results. Less hair is growing back and it is finer than before.

Searched around for a home IPL after gaining confidence from various YouTube videos that they actually work. Found this one based on number of satisfied purchases, and gambled on one. Granted, I don't have anything to compare this to, but long story short, I'm very satisfied and would recommend it. I am DEFINITELY noticing substantial hair reduction on my stomach already, although for now it's rather patchy. My stomach used to be very even in how hairy it was, but now you can plainly see patches where hair is not growing. I have every expectation that continued treatments will reduce hair even more. The unit seems very well put-together. I've been using it fairly regularly for about a month now, and already gone through 12,481 flashes of the predicted 999,900-flash lifespan, and it's still going strong. It has a fairly robust-sounding cooling fan for the internal bits, and it has a very effective Peltier device cooler at the flash end to go against your skin. How effective? Check my pictures -- when the unit is at a room temperature 73°F (22.7°C) the cooling unit is at 44°F (6.7° C). It's like taking a cold can of soda out of the fridge and pressing it against your skin. My only complaints might be that it's slightly less than ergonomic to hold without either covering the cooling fan or pressing the power/ power adjust button. But the other IPLs you might find online seem like they're all designed like that, so this isn't losing out to its competitors in that regard. Also, the inclusion of the sunglasses and a disposable razor seemed a little silly, but they can't be adding anything to the price of the unit. But honestly, it's better to have the sunglasses than not; the flashes are seriously bright. Overall, I'm definitely very satisfied with this item and would highly recommend it. ... show more

    • The product itself is great, the manual is horrible.

So, firstly, the manual, which is by far the most important item to come with the product, is useless. It doesn’t say when to up a level, how long to do each level, or if the level will change what you’re trying to do. On Amazon, it states that it’s also for rejuvenation of the skin, which is great, but at what level does that apply? Who knows. It’s not in the manual. Since I had no pain on level one, and on the first run, I went over the same spots twice. I will say, my face does feel tighter, and there’s no redness or soreness, which I’m not sure if that means it worked or not lol. My eyebrows are microbladed so I’m being very careful in that spot, but I do feel like the product is good, and you can actually smell it working (as it flashes… it’s like the smell of skin or hair (that I may have missed) being removed). I have not used it on my legs yet, but will do so soon. I mainly got it for my face, and armpits. Overall, they need to improve the manual, drastically, but it seems to be a good product. Also, I’m not sure if the glasses protect your eyes. That does worry me, but I try to close them with the glasses over, and just stay in lines, which makes it easy not to miss spots. ... show more
