This Case-Mate magnetic battery is ok, doesn't provide a fast charge. Actually, takes a while to charge my devices. The concept is great but isn't something I would purchase again. The magnetic portion doesn't hold on my device that well. May work best with the magnetic device cases.

It gets very hot when charging both itself and the phone. Also takes a long time to charge your phone. In a pinch I guess it’ll work but not worth what I spent on it. Dissatisfied.

This charger doesn’t charge all the way. It doesn’t charge past one dot and it’s been plugged in for 24 hrs, I’ve tried everything suggested so it must be defective. The concept of a wireless charger that magnetically attaches to my phone is great but I’m going back to my trustworthy power bank.

    • Great Battery Pack for iPhones
I never bought the Apple MagSafe battery pack because I couldn’t justify the price, so I can’t compare the two, but this charger is everything I imagined I wanted from a wireless charger. It magnetizes strongly to the back of my iPhone and quickly charges it. It can charge 10% of the iPhone battery in 5 minutes. For instance, my battery went from 17% to 27% in 5 minutes, and 27% to 37% in also just 5 minutes. From what I’ve noticed, it can charge my iPhone 12 mini twice on one full charge. I really like that the charger has a physical button to turn it on and off. Therefore, I know it’s not draining its battery in a standby mode. I had it turned off for a week and it was still fully charged when I turned it on. There are four white lights that indicate the charge levels, and a blue light stays on while it’s charging a device—a good visual so I know that the phone is still magnetized and being charged. The blue light goes out after you take the phone off the charger. The white lights remain on to show how much charge is left, and 42 seconds later it turns itself off. ... show more
